I like the feel of this! It's like a smooth groove, very calming! Did you play the guitars? If so, congrats! Nice stereo work on the percussion too, it sounds awesome! Great work!
I like this, the guitar part is cool. Did you record that live or did you use a vst/loop? I think you did a pretty good job on this song. Only problem i see is that the beat at some points goes a little out of tone with the vocals.
I like your slightly lo fi but up to date take on this classic! The guitar and vocals are both quite good! Very interesting rhythms, but they totally work! Jammin cover!
unpredictable but rewarding
and this piece contains several worthy samples
that wah work is amazing too, often i find the wah to be overindulgent or shoehorned in, that is not the case here
i may just use this to practice on my tables if you dont mind
Nice...kind of sounds like something that can be a "Sonic" game soundtrack for some reason. I get feel for Megaman mixed with Sonic. Maybe it's the flanging like effects (which is used alot in many MegamanX game soundtracks) or the crisp guitar that sometimes pops up in sonic games. More of it's recent releases especially. Dig this though man, would of liked a final master however. But otherwise, nicely done. peace
awesome, love the drum loops seriously, very creative and added dementia.. i mean dimension. Nice guitar work, esp dig how it intermingles with the vocals..
hey, so i tried using a pitchshifter with my electric and shiftered down 12 or 24.. like 2 octaves prolly and it gave the bass i needed for that song in perfect time with the guitar.. hah, soo cool... and fun... if you're interested, it's called garnish.. I'm actually posting it tonight ; )
first off, from your profile: "PRagha Khan - Injected with the poisen (their gonna play that at my funeral " hahaha, what's that mean ? suicide ? kidding of course mate..
on a side note, Scotiabank called and offered me Accidental Death Insurance.. I'm like, dude.. it's not gonna be no accident, I got it all planned out.. stutter gulp stutter, hahah..
So the song: Great - this is damn catchy, love the guitar work mate, that's you I presume. niiice track,
When you said you had a sore throat i was expecting it to be terrible. But it isn't! Ok you can tell your throat went a bit dry in a few places but it gives it a sort of "dylan" kind of flavour (& we all know how sucessful that man was)
Hats off for doing the singer song writer thing. It's a brave and fine effort.

I've been perusing through your tracks and i don't know if you're aware, but this is bloody brilliant mate.
It sounds like there's a little bit of massive attack influence going on there. That vocal is superb and compliments the bas and guitar perfectly.
Really enjoyed this piece and i've downloaded it to enjoy it again.
Top tune!!

This is a very interesting fusion of the rock guitar with a Drum and Bass rhythm. I like the stereo field you created with modulation effect. Very Cool track!
An origional take on an old classic. The beat pattern is border lining on D&B. I like that idea. One thing that slightly puzzles me is that going through your tracks your clearly a rock fan. So i'm just wondering how come you ended up doing a dance show?
Anyway, Great track.

Ha Ha, yes it must seem odd. Long story short, I learned to play guitar when I was younger and my Dad was (is) a DJ. I was always helping him so learned his trade too. Then I became a club/rave DJ in the 90's. Then BOOM! Family time...3 kids later I started strumming on the guitar more. Then an opportunity came up for radio DJ so I went for it.
As you can see I don't try and confine myself to one style so Rock, trance, dub, its all good my friend. Thanks for the comment, hope my reply helps.

In this era of digital music, there is nothing like hearing an "unplugged" performance. This is really fantastic work. Less is sometimes more, and this song proves that.
Stokes said it. I dont think anyone would notice a sore throat.
Very calm and relaxing song, sad also. Everything from the vocals to the music (especially the guitar strums) contributes to a very emotional track.
Great job!

Still very much a work in progress.
I must admit my radio career seems to have overshadowed my musical interest but I still have some ideas!

Thanks for sharing this latest tune with us. I like the sound of the guitars a lot. Different effects can really add a lot to a song.
The ending of the song ended abruptly which I thought was a little strange. Maybe it got cut off?
Otherwise, a good job done with it.
Randy
It does cut off like that, this was just a lay down of ideas to get a feel for it.
I'm gonna do more to it but wanted to share where I had got to so far.
Cheers
