As a guitarist who has recently fell in love with the bass i can say thanks for this delicious treat....:)

Thanks for the listen and review...I love bass too. I remember being quite young and always hearing the bass in a track/song through everything else. :)

LOL I read your review a couple of times and couldn't decide if you were suggesting that I was old? No worries...I am :)
Whatever you do, don't tone down your music...just be yourself.

Hey Elaine

Sweet this is so so sweet, impressive synths, working along so nicely with the beat, again as I have come to expect from you Elaine is the clarity and arrangement are spot on, most have beaten to the punch here with this one, which I have to agree with most, that is one amazing piece of work...massive fav Elaine...Thank you for sharing this gem....Peace n Love...Estefano...

oooo, i love that piano, sounds like a wurlitzer the way it pans. that bassline is so good, super funky. that trumpet brings it to a whole new level. awesome song miss sharp.

eshar replied Unknown
Yeah I've used the old E-piano which is why it has that organ type sound in places. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a review. :)

Nice groovy number to repeat endlessly through my head as i head off to bed.
The cheezy rhyme was unintentional, but i'll leave it..
Good work, Elaine :)

I would imagine the hint of Hip Hop was generated by incumbents with their 'A' levels judging by the sophisticated sound! lol..seriously though,I really like this groove, mellow funk I would call it..and yet again we are faced with the hopelessly inadequate genre list,I understand why you chose fusion..however thats like categorizing Modern art under contemporary art...mind you my idea of what fusion represents probably is antiquated by now...sorry for the rant, odds are the upcoming changes will happen sometime after I expire from holding my breath!..cheers Dave
eshar
eshar replied Unknown
Dave I was on the verge of hitting the sack when I saw your review and rest assured I went to sleep with a smile on my face. Not that the thought of you expiring made me laugh but as we both know the full implementation of the "upcoming changes" might see both of us off :)
I have to say that I don't really like the Fusion genre...or that tag and I agree that it doesn't really do justice at times.
Thanks for the listen and review.

Yeah thanks for the comments about my vocals...this track was made with my old mic and the quality was pants quite frankly, although plenty of people have used my pellas with the old mic and made some very cool tracks.

This is another track I personally quite like too...I really like DnB but for some reason because I make a lot of funk tracks and do spoken word people often seemed surprised by that fact.
Thanks again for your time and comments.

Play 2 now...

I absolutely love the slap bass on here. And the sax is cool too (though I'm thinkin that it might be comin out a bit too hot in the main mix). I'd also consider bumping up the drums a little as they seem sorta subdued as is. Beyond that, you can def never go wrong with this type of fusion (as they seem to go hand-in-hand like some Reece's cups). Cool stuff chica. Lates!

I like this tune, as I think it has the foundation of being a very funky jam. I think if you added a rythme guitar to play a funky riff to accompany the main refrains, it would really put this over the top.

Love the wah guitar that accompanies the horn solo.

I almost wish I could attach a loop to this review, as I have an idea for the rythme guitar part.

Nice work,

Kelly

Thanks for stopping by. I know exactly what you mean about the Beastie Boys. I really wish there were some more forward thinking MCs or Producers on here that could hear the potential in the tracks that are posted.
I'm glad your boys had a dance...thinking about it is making me smile :)
