I have been trying to get that crunchy bass sound recently!! haha... that's awesome.
The stereo spectrum feels very narrow on my headphones and I checked my outputs and it's definitely the track... It's not bad, but I wanted more bass, I will e-mail you!

You been having a spring clean Elaine? I see you've scaled your profile down quite considerably. I pressed play on this and for some reason the first thing i thought of was Tequila (i haven't even had a drink for nearly four years)
I love the subtleness of the mix down on this. Minimal efx usage, concentrating on the instruments themselves.
There's some far out guitar play going on in this tune and i could quite easily place it in a tarantino movie like pulp fiction.
Quality!!

Let that duck out, love the quacky bass line. Nice production, every thing sounds nice and clean/articulate.
great trade vocal/melody trade off near the end.

Have not heard your funky grooves for a while but looks like you have not lost a beat. Tune grabs you right from the start and makes you listen. Guitar is Funky as you can get and a great Bass line. This has all the elements of Funk wrapped into one FUNKY TUNE! Hey where's my Platform Shoes!! LOL

some good stuff here, it's great when you hear something so simple work.. that bassline is almost a stroke genius ...the drum track is awesome..

the whole structure of the track is great ... very nice production also... I have only one problem really and that is the track does feel a little "vanilla" ya know? a little too clean...but I'm sure that is just me..

over all I enjoyed it alot... nice one

You really seem to be re-inventing yourself with this song,and I think you're adding to the style you've already created and it shows your ability to expand on what you already do best..funk,jazz and hip hop.
This is such a great listen...the blend reminds me of something,I can't name it but it may be just what you've done...I know,silly coming from the "Almost 50" rock guitar guy but this gets better after every listen.

Really good stuff here Elaine..very good,I'm proud of you!

Nice sublime funk/trip hop Elaine. There are so many rappers on Looperman looking for beats, one would think they would be all over this one.

One thing is for sure, you absolutely know how to construct a song. The mix and master is really, really good too.
