Awesome Tune....not necessary to repeat what other's have said about the vocals. I can't wait, though, to hear those lyrics. This tune sounds like something straight up Macy Gray's lane. You are definitely a singer, from the little I could hear near the end. Well done so far!
This is lovely. Nice work. However, couldn't hear words clearly at some point in the track. If you applied some reverb in the vocals track you may need to lower it a lil' bit. Otherwise its really cool to listen to this song. Big up.
You're rite about the reverb...attempting 2 learn mixing, and mike dynamics. Your input is appreciated and thanx 4 tuning in...I only hope 2 get better!
first my ilolater respects to tallented DJ RYMZ for such a nice composition & elegantly arrangemenT , & then a great respect to your perceptional collab & lyriX .
& beside them all , I respectfully think U as singer are really good enough to sing with more aplomb & be sure about yourself that are the right person for best ( not a good one just )execution of yourself's nice lyrix & vocal melody composed . in music we say '' microphone doesn't lie '' , &
if U trust ( or also if U feel doubt about) yourself (more & still more than this ) in singing & expression of the words , listener will be influenced by your trust or doubT as a reflexive reaction in their mind .
many thnx or sharing your symmetric comprehension with colleague DJ RYMZ as this collab with us .best wishes.___Behnam
DeciBel, 1st thanx 4 the response, which I truly appreciate. 2nd everything u mentioned was on point, it's true the portrayal of the lyrics needs to be expressed with the utmost clarity. 3rd I need to acquaint myself with the dynamics of my mic and recording surroundings to afford the listener the best experience I can offer. I truly plan to aim honestly for those goals, which I believe are achievable by me....
Bathers, thanx 4 your time, I appreciate the fact that u enjoyed what I was able to offer, but it wasn't possible without the great track produced by DJRYMZ....hopefully I'll
get another chance to jump on another DJRYMZ hot mix!
Very different and unique track!
I especially love the instrumentals that are very enchanting and create a very special mood for the song. :) I liked it
DJRYMZ created a great track that I just felt, although, he he thought my style was unorthodox, he still liked what I done with his track. I offer my gratitude 4 u stopping 4 a listen.
THE legendary SPELLJ, thanx 4 your time bro, it's always good when a looper icon gives u a thumbz up. I appreciate the vote of confidence which is alwayz needed by us all.
Appreciate tha listen JPro, got my nose in the books, try'n 2 learn how 2 better present my vocals. First ever Mic, so getting the dynamics down, and learning the best place 2 record might take a minute, though!
some sweet ideas here that have potential. just needs a little more work.
i read you are not a singer, however it seems like you could easily become one.
you got a smooth vocal character and already sing in tune pretty neatly most of the time.
in case you plan to hone your singing skills more i recommend you check out some vocal training instruction videos on youtube. some excellent theories and techniques explained there.
mix-wise it feels like the voice is not prominent enough and you could increase the gain on the dry signal more (i.e. make it less drowned in the effects and other sounds).
what did you use to record and apply the effects?
did you insert the reverb effects directly into the dry signal or did you split the signal and mix the effect part in via sends?
1st thanx 4 listening, secondly, I applied the reverb to the dry signal. I did multiple versions, making sure I kept 1
with more of the original vocal. I picked up Nectar and messing around with my vocal, while testing some of it's presets. I will heed your advice about the voice training vidz. Thanx's for the positive and thoughtful feed back, it's what makes this site so damn cool....peace
Shat, you're another long time loop Fam member, so I really appreciate your ear and comments. Try'n 2 learn the Engineering side it's so much, but I'll hang in there!
Hello, I'm surpprised of the work done here. you do sing good but the only prob was that you put too much of spatials effects on the vox making the beat more present than the vocals. And about the whole song you did gave a good impression and you totally implemented the concept i had in mind but likewise you didn't follow the song patterning i.e: Intro-verse-chorus...apart from all this factors you did a great professional job. we can do good things working together.
Your skillz shine bro, I just belted out what I felt in the
track, one take, no written lyrics...but I did keep a clean vocal version too. I'm not claiming 2 b a singer, but I do it just enough 2 sale a song. I'm learning though, this is actually the first song I've done with a MIC. I have a long
way 2 go....Thanks 4 tha words of encouragement, which I welcome.
Nice track TD.
As ronabo pointed out the vocals are very reminiscent of Aaron Neville who is an RnB icon. Concentrate on Enunciation and singing those words clearly bro. I really enjoyed this track, looking forward to hearing more from you.
Understood, but, I don't write lyrics, I listen to the beat and what comes out is what you get, so maybe that will explain some of the mis-ques. Every track I have listed here is just of the top of the dome, nothing is ever written. I couldn't sing this again word 4 word even if you paid me. It's pure joy and love. Perfection is for the pro's, 4 me it's simply creativity at it' rawness. But that's not to say I won't heed your advance, are try to implement it into my learning, but I put it down when I feel it, or lose it 4 ever. For those who constantly write will say, if you don't get it than, you may never get a second chance!
I think the track was good, but it for sure could have been much better. I hear too much of the beat and your vocals hide in the mix. You should work on bringing them up more and leveling them out so you get a smooth even sound. This was cute tho! keep on making hits!
Bro this my first ever track with a Mic, try'n to learn the mic's dynamics, while also learning to record. The other tracks I have listed were me singing into an old compaq on-board mic. I'll get it though, simply because of the love. It takes honesty like yours to help me improve and gain insight so thank you very much.
BAD u been flex'n here 4 a while so it's pretty cool to have
u comment on the track...a lot of the credit goes to DJ RYMZ,
but the composition of the lyrics and melody is my contribution...appreciate the listen.

cool, thanx... I'm feel'n the flow you laced on your track
also. Really talented peeps still clinging
to the loop thru the years. I'n hoping to
get studio side down some day.
Ozzi, thanx 4 tha listen, didn't really think anyone was check'n my older stuff, and I had a long pause recently, but I appreciate your time and comments.
Thanx 4 tha listen, really geeked about your view of my vocal attempts...still recording without a mic which adds to the shyness factor of this track...truly dig your persona and talent on the site!

He sounds shy. But I love the vibe of this track. Makes me think of Marvin Gaye's "Sexual Healing".
Is that a "talk rap"? Kinda threw me off.
LOVE Love the guitar!
