Potential is the key word that is describing your sound for me. The guitar parts are awesome in their own right. The structuring is fine. Everything fits together and flows quite nicely. The drums are definitely there. It certainly comes across that your passion is Rock music. Where the wheels start to come off at all four corners is in the mixing. From what I've listened to this is improving as we speak.

The best way I can describe what I'm trying to say is by using what's already out there. When you listen to David Gilmour Playing with Pink Floyd his guitar is mixed in quite equally with the rest of the group. When he plays as a solo artist his guitar is right up front there in the mix and everything else is slightly behind. I think its a compromise he had to make for Floyd. Best example of this is listening to Comfortably Numb from the Pulse live performance then DG Live in Dansk playing the same song. Exactly the same guitar part.. just mixed differently.

What is going on when I listen to this track is that some of the guitar is weighted quite nicely in with all the other instruments and in other parts everything else is fighting for space with the guitar. It works both ways but not in the same track.

I feel so brutal putting this in a review. In all fairness there are some people that dislike the way that I mix my songs. My CPU is ready to explode it's working so hard when I render the songs as mp3's. I tend to use a lot of reverb effects and pan some tracks slightly off centre to make them sit right. Using the delay of when the sounds hit a solid object as an instrument in it's own right. I'm also quite extreme with bass. I get a bit Spinal Tap and turn it all up to 11. At the end of the day when you find your sound it's a magic moment and you can pretty much apply that to all of your work so that it defines you. Just by hearing the first few bars people will be able to say "that's Silvestre!"

I hope that this feedback doesn't offend you in any way, as that is not my intention. You've got a great talent. Don't stop making music.

I agree with Meccano, the synth bass that comes in around mid song is a tad loud and takes away from the enjoyment of the track.

Still, it is a very good track.

Nice, has a Fisherman's Blues feel to it by the Waterboys. The slide sound great, so many things I like about this! Would love to hear some vocals on it. The change to the Am is great, love it, classic blues progression!!
