Ha...I'm pretty sure I remember this track of Jack's in it's original form so I can see how it's evolved....super cruise mode has been added with the bass, background synth flavours and of course the patented Rei guitar sound.....A fantastic well rounded result with a surprise mood change at the end..it rolls along beautifully...you could do a Jazz album and I'd be one of the first to buy it!...great work guys ..cheers Dave :)
Great track very smooth very relax! Thank you for this beautifull
job i have had 4 minutes of calm in my mind i immediatly put it in my favorites!
Cheers!
Hi Rei,
Well, checking out the Voices tune you recommended that you updated.
Staring out, the voices are strange, like little kids talking but a cool effect. Nice guitar sound, good background beat and the other instruments filling.
A lot of creativity I feel here. Are you sure your not from another planet visiting us? lol
Randy
I really liked how the guitar changed up around 2:30ish and then went into a whole new riff around the 3 minute mark before coming back to the original tune. great playing on it throughout, kudos.
It really is a happy track. I could see this on a Body Break commercial. I'm afraid only the Canadian looperpeeps are familiar with Body Break.
Nice driving guitar right out of the gate! That's what I like...gets your attention right away. I guess this one deserves vocals too as it seems to be telling a special story.
Guess you wrote this last year before I joined, but it is a featured so it caught my eye. Good thing for that box or I'd miss a lot of good tunes such as this here.
Good overall mix Rei....all your tunes are good.
One thing I notice tho, in people giving you a review, they ask questions here about the tune, but you never answer back?
This whole song is wicked! Guitar is sick, sound effects awesome and mesh so well with the beat. Im really not much of a heavy metal fan but i really like the way your guitar sounds. nice job
Hello there Rei,
My turn to give a review back to you for you giving me one the other day.
So, this sounds like a nice song for a movie in the ending credits section. Has nice overall sound, nice guitar playing.
Don't think I can say anything different than what was said already. You get lots more reviews than I do. :-).
Anyways, a great song and I like it and that's all that matters.
Like you said "just about perfect"
Randy
I like happy! Love this. Zombies in the mall dancing on prozac. Sorry my mind goes weird places when I'm listening to music. Great guitar word. That's a real catchy lead lick. It's impossable to listen to this song and not be happy.
Hi Rei,
Another great tune. I like pop songs too. I don't make them as they usually sound better with vocals and I don't sing. Do you sing at all?
You put this one together very well. Would fit good into a movie theme I think. Too bad you don't know someone in that field you could get to listen to it. The only place I know of is a web site called 'Taxi'.
They get people jobs all the time in TV, Jingles, Comercials Movies, HBO TV etc.
But I suspect you'll spend $10,000 in different fees as time goes by while waiting. I read that from them in a Modern Recording mag. article.
Anyways, good job well done with this tune as well. I wish you all the best.
Randy
Hi there rei4real,
Looks like you haven't been on in a month. Everything ok over there?
Haven't listened to any of your tunes in a whle so I am making the rounds.
You did a nice job on this tune. I am at work so I only have tiny computer speakers to judge by. Everything fits together well.
As far as mistakes, I don't know of anyone that doesn't make them. On their CD or whatever, the mistakes they might have made are edited out usually so you don't hear any.
Afterall, no one is perfect. Playing live you can make many small ones and most won't notice anyway. Playing in a studio, it can be done over and over till no mistakes are heard....note by note editing with software.
Glaring mistakes are different than tiny slip-ups in my book. Most musicians are perfectionist and hate to make mistakes...like me.
Anyways, your playing skills are very good. I often play with a combination of my own playing and loops. I can't play all instruments...like drums. I get mine from Betamonkeymusic.com. Very natural sounding drums.
Thanks for uploading,
Randy
