Honestly, the first time I played this I didn't like the beginning, but by the end I loved this song. Then I read some other reviews that said they liked the beginning so I went back and listened again and I can't explain why I didn't like the beginning the first time around. Must be like scotch or my wife's Kim chi - an acquired taste. Anyway, the song is interesting and unique and fascinating - download and fav.

Jeez Bill...I was looking through your tracks and noticed the mention to you getting over heart surgery...that's a big deal!...amazing track that reflects your passion...I hope everything is squared away health wise...us old dogs have to look out..but we've got plenty of bite left....more than enough to handle any youthful incursions from a rabid looperman pack...cheers planet :)
Great track! Truly deserves the Rave genre, very good build! And eshar's right, i have been listening to your other tracks, and you truly can put your personal mark on every track, regardless of genre! Cheers!
Hey Bill....this is downright interesrting...didgeridoo,koto.organ,drums,electric piano,etc...super track a veritable tossed salad of sounds that really works.....great work!....cheers Dave
Hi Moke,
Just played your Rave style song and read your profile. I just turned 64 yrs. so I got you beat by about 8 years! :). But age is just an number. I also work at a power plant doing swing shift.
Anyways as to your song, I haven't heard Rave like this before so I found it interesting. I have a loop disk of Rave stuff that is a lot different sounding with a lot of drop tunnings on it. Either C' or D'. Anyways, I liked your song and will check out more of your tunes on here. I find that in my case, many times starting a new song never turns out the way you planned it and thus make it fresh and different than anyone elses or anything you'd hear on the radio.
I am more into rock/country/bluegrass and just purchased a new Dobro. So give a listen to a couple of my tunes if you get a chance as well. In about a week or so, I'll be uploading another Blues type song with Dobro sounds in it. (Not that many songs on here have it in them).
Keep up the good work.

Whatever genre I label my stuff, it's all just Moke Music. I like to shake up and blend different styles & sounds. I think of myself more as an artist, whose chosen medium is sound. The computer is my palate & canvas. My mouse, the brush. I'm glad you liked it. Moke
I've seen this track a few times on other profiles, but never checked 'em out. Decided I'd change that todat and you're the first.
I'm def diggin the atmosphere on this. It kinda reminds me of Euro-Pop. From which, several names come to mind (though arguably, not Pop, haha). First would be Daft Punk coz they've got a similar lighty vibe on their Discovery album. Next up is Cassius coz if you've been to their myspace page (or either Workshop page they've got set up for artists like us to remix their stuff and they post 'em to several players they got on those pages) it sorta reminds me of their current stuff. Followed by Gorillaz, loosely. The way 2-D sings sometimes. There's others, but I'll wrap it there.
The work of a genuis. Dunno where I got that quote- It's off of one of my Albums somewhere (DJ Revolution perhaps).
I'm def diggin the swinging swish sound that's goin on now. It gives the illusion of spinning or rising and falling back and forth (you know, like that one Ride they got in Busch Gardens in Virginia, don't remember the name, but it's the one near Da Vinci's Craddle).
The Synth leads are insane on this mate. You did one bang up job. Que Fog Machine and dim primary lights in 3... Cheers!
Makes me sound tame. Haha. So very intense. I dig it, makes me want to break things. Then it gets all light for a second and I come out of it just long enough to regain my composure. Cool track. Peace, Six
Hardcore, you know the score!!
Excellent, I really like the paning, and the way your synth build up. I would have put a heavier kick, but that just my point of you. Apart from that, great and hard, love it!
Cheers S.
very diiferent love the steel guitar i like the dark aspect flowin in the back. nice job hit me

I wish that was me playing the guitar but it was me playing the computer. I found this small, sweet guitar piece & thought it could make a beautiful song. For some reason, the end of Cinnamon Girl was on my mind when I made this. I did use the entire snipet in the song. I cut it up for the rest. Thanks for the kind review. Moke
