Great inspiration source. Very unexpected piece of music. The way it took off was not what I was picturing when it all started. But it was a pleasant surprise. Very interesting combination of sounds and a very interesting progression of the song. It was fascinating and intellectually stimulating. It does not fit in a box. That's great to hear- people who pursue music as a form of art rather than just entertainment. The vocal chants are awesome. I like that the song goes full circle. Great job. Fascinating. Kper

Hey Ken, Just a great piece of music, very relaxing. I like the change around 1:50 where it settles down and regroups, very tasty!! Nice job picking Elaine's vocal track, fits nicely.

This is really cool, this song really feels like a battle sequence, I picture some good slow motion scenes and out right face paced action. Really great job on this.

Well...that is probably the nicest review I've ever had on a track. It was a bit of good luck the way the bells fit into the song. Living in France you are probably familiar with how Joan of Arc was able to hear the saints speaking to her through church bells. Well, unlike her I do not hear the voices of saints in the bells but I do believe I can hear a beautiful song when they ring. And yes, sadly Christmas has turned into something a little less uplifting than it started out to be but its true meaning is still good news to the world. -Ken

on I'm Sorry (feat. Marj) by Kenikos
Man you did it with this track, you can't hardly go wrong using a Marj pella, that girl can sing. Great job on this man!!!!

Kenikos replied Unknown
Thank you. I think you just missed my final (hopefully) revision of this track so you might want to give it one more listen. Yes...Marj's voice is beautiful and I hope she will like what I've done. I think her lovely pella was a great inspiration to me.

cool, work with accapellas more often you will see yourself getting better and better im shite with accapellas this is cool though

Kenikos replied Unknown
First time I'd tried working with a pella as complicated as this one. Definitely requires more work and takes a lot more discipline. It's still fun though and stretches one's boundaries. May try it again...there are several nice pellas on this site. Thanks for the generous comment. -Ken

This sounds really cool! Very nice use of loops, especially those sweet guitar riffs! I like the string sounding leads, they build up energy very nicely. Very nice variety in this track. Very good automation and fading of the layers, well done! An all around great track!

There was a lot of good electronic music made in the 1970s and this little beauty would sit comfortably right there with it - that's a good thing.

Ahhh yes...the 70's.....a time of some very creative and varied music. I remember that decade well...some of the best (and worst) times of my life. Thanks for the nice comment. Glad you enjoyed the listen. Peace. -Ken

This is very cool! I love all the organs, very nice! I must admit this isn't what I expected when clicking on a rock song, but I am pleasantly surprised. Very nice mix on this one! Cool stuff friend!

I wasn't quite sure what genre this should be under so I picked rock....my favorite genre because it encompasses so many different sounds. Thanks for listening and paying the nice compliment. -Ken

Real nice with the guitars in this one. Very nice relaxed feel to your music. It has a flowing, watery feel to it as well as if floating down a quick moving river. Nice detail down to the ending.

Very creative Ken,

Love "The Sparrow" and sequel "Children of god", - reading from the gut!, like your complex piece, loved the piano and vocals, one of my favs, downloaded, gratitude+!

Glad you liked the books and my track. There are rumors on the internet that Brad Pit may be making The Sparrow into a movie (though I can't picture him as Father Emilio). You may also like the Dan Simmons novels I mentioned in my comments for a few other tracks. Endymion and The Rise of Endymion also include a religious theme (priests as captains of star ships and a new sacrament of Resurrection). These books by Russell and Simmons made a big impression on me (and I think still affect me subconsciously). I love good books and good music. Peace and harmony to you.

Nice track. Downloaded for sure - thank you for that.
I always manage to miss the Perseids shower show. My brother caught it one time at the Lac Magantic Observatory - he said it was astonishing.
Ok, I'm listening more to your track - damn good. Nice flavors.

Very cool. You got the eastern flavour of the Fremen perfectly. This would be great in a soundtrack to a Dune film.

Man, this is great! I could see this with images of space, the moon, how the Earth looks from the moon, etc. You really nailed the imagery for this. I just wish there was a prog genre on this site, this track would be perfect fot that.

on Transcendence (feat. Mhyst) by Kenikos
Great piece of music man. Wouldn't call it trance tho...more ambient i'd say, but hey...who cares when u can create a vibe like this ....terrific work dude!
Kenikos
Kenikos replied Unknown
Thank you...glad you liked it. I had first classified this track as ambient but later I thought it seemed more hypnotic and trance-like so I re-classified it. Now I'm not sure what it is. Maybe I've created a new category....ambient trance....that must be it.
