Sounds a bit like retro 80's synth pop and it's really cool. The big snare and the bassline are a little like Rockwell as Crucethus already pointed out.
Nice to hear something a little different.
FR
That could be due to the drums coming from DR-550-samples that are more or less edited... which simply has this kind of sound (that I also happen to love... must be due to being born in the 90s and having a mother loving 80s synthpop and wave XD)
anyways, thanks^^
Hey Ishimizu,
I would say that this is like some mix between industrial and trance. Really interesting song to say the least, as they are two genres I don't think that have ever been mixed before. Great job though I enjoyed it!
Best of Luck in future weird genre mashups!
Rico L.
well, over a few corners Industrial and Trance have been mixed... more then once . . . but not directly, now that you mention it... huh. Then again, personally I don't hear any Industrial in this... hmm... anyways: happy ya enjoyed it^^ thx for taking your time to listen and comment^^
you have an artistic sense of bringing us to the very edge of the cliff and then pulling us back, over and over! love your grooves, your choices of sounds, the emotional development in the track. sensational work. big learning here for me. big congrats! Dan
Hey Ishimizu, i saw your recent comment it i absolutely suck at mixing and i want to become a DJ and i suck i was wondering if you could help me. Dude i was wondering if you could help me maybe even train me? Dude i know nothing i just try my best by sing my hear and seeing how it best sounds i don't have good quality headphones as a matter of fact i use earbuds i was hoping my mom would buy me beats for christmas but she is very cheap i want to get training i know nothing i feel it is so complicated. You sound like you know what your talking about though and wondering if you could help me. P.S. thanks for the comment because now i know what i need to work and can you tell me what else i'm bad at i need to know. Thank you though for telling me. Sincerely, Malik McPherson
yeah dear Ishimizu, in fact my "favorite" part is 2:50 to 3:35. the reason why favorite is in "" its because I like all the tune so its normal if a part of a favorite tune is favorite....
Btw very original name, I forgot to wirte that on my previous comment. On my own I always have difficulty to put a sweet name so maybe I will use a anagram for one :D
ah, so the part between the blastbeats, basically...
...those parts where the first thing I made during the making of this, btw.
ah, yeah, I also pretty much always have problems naming my tracks (unless they have some kind of text in which case the name derives from that)... ushually I just end up using something pseudo-philosophical or pseudo-intelectual sounding . . . which is kinda ironical since my music isn't smart at all XD
Simone & hardcore ..
oh oh ! hahah Mein Kopf explodiert , aber dieses Genre ist die gleiche und Sie es sehr gut gemacht haben .
schön, dich nach einer Weile wieder hier zu sehen .
:)
__Behnam
yeah, me and hardcore . . . made it once, done it time and time again. XD
yeah... problably the most wrong track to listen to when having a headache of sorts, but happy you like it^^ Am still rather happy with it myself.
and, yeah, I'll try to be more active here again.^^
As you said, very raw and very dissonant. The beginning was smooth and mellow, almost lulled me to sleep. Then there is that loud line. Then mellow sleepiness then WAM BAM high energy dissonance...
gotta admit, I do like to use pretty extreme differences in loudness and such things in a track... maybe a side effect of liking classical music where dynamics play quiet a big role... and for dissonance: well, I haven't put it in the Hardcore genre without reason :P
that reads like you think that I will actually change something about this... well... won't do that, I personally see this one as finished... have a habbit of not changing anything as soon as I declared it finished...
non the less: thx fopr taking your time and comment^^
HOLY FUCKING SHIT MAN this is so tight man,i swear i wasn't expect that heard this i thought some heavy guitar rock track was gonna drop but instead a FUCKING mad hardcore break-core dub-step masterpiece just flew into my ear drums and rocked me.
after hearing how it ends,i hope you add some of the kick bass mash up part to finish it off and maybe end it with the jungle thats starts in the intro kinda feel it ends to quickly in my opinion.
but hell of track man.
PS can I please REMIX the shit of tihs using the stems, you can send it here
altonjreid85@yahoo.com
also i got a breakbeat track i made form my new album so stay tuned
first: thx for actually taking a listen... since I wasn't really expecting that you'll do that. XD
second: I stared a while at my display now trying to figure out what to say, mostly since I wasn't prepared to get such a positive comment xX
wonder why you did expect a heavy rock track...
kick bass mash up part? You mean the middle part were the kick is playing a atypical pattern, while being constantly automated?
also: funnily enough, my first draft of this was even shorter and less harmonic, since it was a one minute cybergrind brickwall.
thanks man^^
for RMX: nothing against it, heck, I'd actually am rather curious what you would make out of this... prob is only that I am not having that much bandwith left, so uploading raw wave files is not possible... damn the ridiculous slow interwebz via mobile-phone-net. If max quality MP3s are OK too I could send the stems as such.
yesssssssss! Simon althoughT I had listened several traX of yours & before listening I knew that would listen to something which I'll like iT ( according to liking your musiX & self style & your elegant in music ) buT U surprised me by this one !! no doubT my favorite between 12 traX of yours which I have in my laptop & have listened them all several times . execellenTTTTTTTT it was Simon . instead of 10 from 10 , I should say I give 11 from 10 to iT ! hahaha...cause it was beyond perfect in my idea in Hardcore genre . else & beside Simon , I was absenT & in my monthly mission for job all previous week , buT I'll write U a private message right now . any way it was a pleasure to listen a new one from U after coming back from mission .
thnX for sharing this my friend . best wishes as always._______Behnam
first off: thanks man, such positive comments really brighten up my mood^^
I am surprised thought, since of all my tracks this is actually one of my most simple ones, music-wise . . . meh, whatever, thx for that really kind comment, Behnam.^^
sounding pretty good, and only 4 hours not bad, myself i would spend a little more time on it to make it sound a little less muddy, other than that great track! :)
Simon Hi , glad to listen a new one from yours . according to I've downloaded more than 10 track of yours before , I can underestand the reason why U've written '' not a serious one '' buT as always U have yourself prvate style in iT too which I like it aloT , also I've never heared anything as happY as from U before & this mentalitY too was worthy of adoration for me .take care .___Behnam
a bit off? as in dissonant? If you mean the intro then I have to say that this is slightly dissonant on purpose... otherwise, maybe you'd be so nice to specify what exactly seems strange so I can make it better next time^^
but of course thanks for listening and taking your time to comment^^
