Great track Victor - lots of elements and rhythmic grooves to keep the listeners interest. For some reason it reminds me of some of the Marcus Miller penned tracks on Miles Davis's Tutu.
Nice one, Victor - definitely got/kept the trance vibe of the original and put that NYCity flavor in as well. I find my self in agreement with the previous reviews regarding volume/levels, but that's purely on the technical side of things. Well done shifting genres! Cheers.
I REALLY REALLY LIKE THIS you have done a fantastic job..everything is right on but it does seem a lil low on the volume end or something. but wow man i really like this track good job

Lovin the vibe this gots. The bass line is sick as hell. super good job on this one. Awesome vocal samples. This switches up a lot. Keeps the listener listening. Good job.
This is a very cool style of Hip Hop! Your hip hop tracks always seem more atmospheric than what I'm used to hearing, so much more going on in the background. Very cool arrangement on this track, it really flows. Cool stuff!
thanks Spivkurl for always taking the time to check out my musings, trying to find a sound here somewhere, maybe I'll just keep on mixing..lol!!
say hi to Minnesota for me bro!

Very groovy track man! This sounds a lot different from what you usually do, maybe because of the time constraint. I really like the portamento synth you use later in the track, it really gives this track some momentum. Very cool work!
For me, this is one of those where it's hard to conceive that the lyrics and the music didn't happen simultaneously. That's very cool.
Hip hop and me are kind of like the Vatican and Copernicus - we just don't understand each other. It's not exactly an incompatibility problem, it's just different symbol systems are in place. In other words, I'm not qualified to critique or offer suggestions to make this better hip hop.
I do understand what works for me, and so I can discuss it on this level. The question then is what metaphors or symbolic systems work for communication between the two of us?
Let's use food. This one's meaty, and got a thick rich foundation. Been simmered down just enough. The levels between your bass/percussion and vocals are a really good balance and neither overpowers the other. A bit of a salty aftertaste, but it's a good one. I prefer a bit more spice, and that's kind of how I'm tasting the funky higher frequency pseudo-melody here. Might think about pulling that sound a bit more to the forefront when there's room for it? Not keep it there, but use it like little pieces of flash cooked broccoli that leap out to the senses in a bite of something smothered in a thick peanut sauce. Accents.
Nice groove, man. Rich but not too filling. Two servings before the review, and I'm not full yet. Savory and nice.
this is very big sreet sound i and think the acapella is maybe one of best on site and i think they are together very good i like very much

Great track Victor. Love the urban vibe and all the different elements you've combined. I think the mix on this is just fine and if it was me I'd leave it there - job done!
I love this song. The vibe is off the hook. Can you email it to me????? Please??? That would seriously make my day. Anyways, I love the vibe that this has. Deff old skool. My kind of music. Alot of diff things incorporated here. I like the vocal arrangement. It works well with the track. There isnt really a lot of tracks on here with girls rapping on them and some of my fav artists are trina,jacki-o,gangsta boo, khia, foxy brown ect. But anyways off topic. I like what you did here. Its perfecto and i wouldnt change anything about it. Deff adding to my favs. Super good job.
thanks for stopping by and checking me out man, I'm still working on the mixing for this track, and i've been trying several different scenarios, thanks for the feedback!
"You are my Fantasy Girl!!!!" I love the way u mixed this up nice1

thnks for comin' by man, yeah, i had a lot of fun with this one, still a work in progress, thanks for the kind words...i'll come by your way soon to check some of your work

This is a really interesting mix. Rhythmically it's outstanding, as it is in terms of melody.
It's a bit spooky though, isn't it? This specifically has to do with the layers of vocals you've chosen and how they interface with the percussion and melody. It's like looking at a cutaway of an apartment building and hearing various disparate narratives that the storytellers are unaware of the others speaking.
A sort of urban disconnect - multiplicity and isolation. Strange.
I'm unsure of the second half of this piece, and it could easily end between the 4 and 5 minute mark. I really dig what happens sonically in the second part, but keep feeling like it needs more bridging or something. IMHO.
