This is beautiful man, beautiful! I love the pads you've used, they give a very spacey vibe to the whole mix. Emotive it is! You've done a great thing with this track!

Sometimes the forethought of a track,at it's very inception, before a single note is played.....that timeless phase within the artist's mind where decisions are moving at light speed, luminosity and shadows flicker in the ephemeral process of creativity..this is when one element, one feeling holds sway.....Love.
Beautiful and fragile..only a parent could make this music.

Nice track here Jamie! Odd timing on some parts but the fit real well! I was waiting for solo instrument when then the guitar came in! very kool, Would have loved to have heard some fretless bass on the track, i think it would have standed out big time!
Voice and drum tracks nicly done also!

When i make music its to express my whacky side and passes time.
But when u someone makes a track for a love one it holds with great value and sounds come out fantasticlly beatiful because its with filled with emotion and magic.

So its no secret that this song is good but who it goes out to is even better.

great work jfw

It's nice to revisit this track! I think you've done some really good updates to this track, I don't remember exactly what has changed, but the song has grown on me! I really like the variety of instruments used on this one. Really nice guitar playing! Great work on this track, but when don't you do great work?
jfw
jfw replied Unknown
The updates are some extra acoustic guitar at the end. Rhanks for the listen Spivkurl!
Cheers

really smooth, easy listen and drive kinda feel to it. love the quality of the samples and tones you've used. the guitar lead @ 3:15 was beautiful, it was short and went very well with the track. i feel the piano plinks are a bit off here and there :). overall i loved it.

Thanks for listening & reviewing Ash. The outside notes on the keys were deliberate ( this is jazz and all that ) however, listening to it again I think I may go back and re-do it - playing it straight!

Very chromatic..this is a very cool piece..very clean..reminiscent of many things..quite visual..I think what I really dig about this track is the inherent silence between the notes, there's no background ambience and this gives it a pristine quality, add to that a very straight uncomplicated rhythmic beat and the result is quite remarkable and interesting...tres cool!

This is a really cool song. Is there piano in there too? I can pick out the guitar but it sounds like there is piano in there too. Excellent work with the performance and sound quality, one of the best I've heard on here so far.
jfw
jfw replied Unknown
Thanks for listening & reviewing - btw there is no piano in this, although I do use piano in a lot of my tracks.

another master class syn-gtr piece - very partial to the second half and the all-too-brief clean lead statement and subtly colliding washes

If I didn't know better, I'd swear this piece was an acoustic collab between Bob Fripp and Adrian Belew. But what else could I expect from a guy who uses a King Crimson album cover for an av? Fantastic track, Jamie. I mean it ~ simply fantastic.

Soft piano, mellow guitars, chimes ~ this is perfect Jazz Fusion. Has that softly haunted essence which is found in some of Hancock's earlier mellow pieces. Great stuff, mon!

Excellent track, dude. Although you tagged it as "techno jazz", to me the keyboard work is very reminiscent of Dave Brubeck and Don Fagan. Very nice indeed, mate.

chops + composition really well-balanced - if there is justice in the world we'll hear you work that roland(?) with a live rhythm section - cool melodic playing. do you have any gig recordings?

Thanks for listening again Michael. Unfortunately I dont think I have any live stuff, if I do it will be years old. Cheers,
