Agreed that the music could be turned up a bit.

The advice aside, this is amazing!

Your lyrics are just fantastic, Im not sure if you have a pella up on this song or if you plan too...but if you do i would definately be making my version of the song. :D

Overall an excellent job. Keep up the great work! -Gabe

You have such a beautiful voice and the song itself is quite good. I would try remixing it, like eshar said some levels need to be adjusted. The vocals sound nice and out front, I think the music could be pumped up a bit.

You have a nicely spread out track as far as the panning is concerned, big in the stereo field, it gives room for the vocals so don't be afraid to turn the instrument levels up. I saw your post in the forums and figured I would give you my honest opinion. Good luck!

Nice job Angela. You have a lovely voice and much talent. The part where you sing the Tuning out the world line sends a shiver down my spine,in a nice way that is ;-)

hello angela, i don't hear this as busy at all - it's pathologically insular - 'course that's an external take on things - the 3.20 events really work - like a sleepwalker waking in a crowded subway station - it's alarming but not jarring, flows with the submerged vibe of the track. much respect

Really love the vocals and feel of it :)
I'd love to put some percussions on it, so a perc-less version would be fabulous towards that end. I presume the BPM is 96 ?

I'd really like to work with you even on other projects, if the need arises :)

wow just wow... I'm in the same situation NickQ. I can't think of anything that would improve what is already a great sounding track. Very creative! Just... wow :D

2:30-2:47 Awesome track, I have not heard this type of style and its good but it's not quite radio ready yet. You have more power in your voice than you think or have been told. The highlight to me in this track was (MSM) 2:30-2:47, That was the perfect bridge, little bit long but has an AMAZING build none the less! Not a lot of people use bridges in there tracks any more, they don't realize its one of the most important parts, I'm sure you know this already but the "Bridge" is a crucial part of the song structure because it creates the energy and excitement to your listeners building anticipation for the chorus which is the most known part of a song structure, the most memorable. This track could go far, Plain and simple, you can sing but you need more verses and about 2 more bars for your chorus and keep your bridge and you will have a hit. If you to work more on this let me know, I will write the rest of the song and we can share styles, we can do this beat and I will make another one for this song? Its not going to be an overnight project though. I use "Melodyne" which is a professional 1200$ program to move each vocal note to the correct pitch or position in time. Fine-tune their length, their volume or the intensity of their vibrato. Basically I will take the excess ash and feed back out and It'll sound pro rec. and radio ready. All my artists (Rappers) are trying to go solo and once they get that ideal in there head without structure there music gets to be repetitive, same rap and melody and i'm trying to do something different. I heard your voice and I knew you could be a hit. I don't mind rendering HQ and vocal mixing for you on this song, all I'm asking is you do one of my songs and I will send you the lyrics and instrumental via e-mail and the only thing you need to send me back is the acapella as clean as possible so we can make the track sound Club and radio ready. this isn't a joke and i'm not backing out because i just spent 6500$ on pro-tools, 2 more Yamaha Caragen Master switch boards, 3 mixers, VST's, SF2 Files, Vocal rendering Software and my beautiful Bosse JX-212 stereo system. I have everything I need and more to make both tracks and any other you might want to work on in the future, sound beyond professional.

My e-mail is

I'm gonna let you do you thing.

This is fantastic! It's not what you have, it's how you use it....and you have used what you have very nicely! I would recommend a bassline.... a soft upright bass just to give it another layer of deep undertones for the melody to ride on.

this is a smashing effort, i agree with nickQ's tips about reverb and delay. a lot of top producers know that a short room or plate reverb. a medium to long hall or stage/ambience reverb. and two delay units one with sorter tap times and one with longer tap types, can glue elements within a mixdown far better and quicker than giving each track in the song its own delay and or reverb. distortions and modulation type fx generally fit the job of adding color, movement or tone to individual tracks in a mix. because your voice is an instrument, which i loved by the way, finding the right dash splash or smear of reverb, trickle splatter or tunnel of echo or delay even chorus or light harmonizer effect is worth investing time into. peter gabriel has a chorus effect which he came across in his early days, its still used every time he needs to get his sledge hammer voice on. janes addiction is a good example of the delerium and extra projection a long tap delay with a bloom of reverb around it. i loved this mix tho perfect and polished losses to character and this mix has bags of it, grabbed a download and fav"ed. thanx for reviewing a loop of mine to. i would like to do something with your vocals if your keen we can chat more. girl power! regards............................................!1X1!.............................

Well it would be hard not to see the Chems influence. I will 2nd paul on the voice compliment. I think some of the cymbals and higher end stuff needs a bit of a tidy up (i was getting some hissyness). If you ever wanna do somethin together let me know.

AS luvin that voice again! No the bass line does'nt bore. It's good - keeps the mood of the track flowing. I did'nt like the little section from 1.50 - 2.20 (seemed a bit messy). Overall though. I liked it. Could definitely be expanded!

Thanks for the specific feedback, blackryan. That's what I need to keep going. I will take a look at that section and do some cleanup. Still working on the expanded version.
