This is a nice track ALX. my only problem is which i also forget to mention on your other track is the mix seems a little loud. the intro part to this has a wide amount of bass frequencies i think should be turned down just a tad. however it could be maybe you didnt pan enough to give breath to the other underlying pad so its kind of struggling to be clear and indistinct. nonetheless this is ethereal sanctuary and a pure ambient listen for sure. nice one
The intro is meant to be a bit unclear and noisy and I always try to mix things with all channels below normal volume. But I'll give it a relisten with what you've said in mind.
Appreciate the feedback Bane, peace.
I guess there are a lot of parallels between travelling in space and travelling at great depaths under the ocean: The claustrophobia, the constant humming of the machinery necessary to our existence and the vast darkness. This track could serve on a soundtrack for either. Way to capture the atmosphere.
Nice effects man. Must say though, it's very well produced, but the bass you used in the beginning is somewhat a contrast to what bass you used later on. A hardcore bass to a happy bouncey bass... they just didn't seem to go well together... OR at least intergrate the two so the beginning bass isn't totally forgotten. Cause, it was a sick sound, maybe needs a little more bass, but sick nonetheless.
Keep it up,
Steve :)
Hey thanks again for your time. I see what you mean about the bass, was looking for some sound to fill the first part a bit more, and came across this wobble that I find fits quite nicely. And, yeah, it helps to make a contrast between the two parts, that's how I wanted the track to be. Sure they don't fit together but they play their role at their respective moments imo, and that's how I like the track :)
Anyway, really appreciate your listen and review jesusfreak (just trying to pronounce yr pseudo smoothly :p)
This is cool as hell ALX! AMbient Dub! the drums sound so good, too. I like the breaking glass effects. There is the bass! nice wobble. VEry progressive, this is like cinematic dubstep. I like the drop. Very dubbish change. Very cool track Fav'd
You have managed to make black holes, probably the most destructive force in the universe, seem warm and inviting. The track is makes for a beautiful listen. Well conceived and well executed.

This one is spectacular in the headphones. I love ambient music and I especially love ambient music with a purpose. The introduction of the drums was one of those "wow, that's nice" moments. Beautiful production from start to finish and a great way to enjoy my afternoon cup of coffee.
i love hearing how tracks are revised and re-visioned - really dug the ruffy version of this but love this smoother flow as well - happy to've heard em both - v rewarding musics
Really glad you could hear the update. I was a bit quick on the upload and only knew what I wanted to change afterwards.. to give it, yeah, a smoother flow.
Thanks a lot for your time!
Very inventive piece of music man, really interesting and definitely unique, the bass wobble works with the atmosphere you have created here, love the beat and how it gels things together, a track that demands the ears attention, good stuff, thanks for the download. peace.
I really like the sound effects you used to build up this beat! Gives the track a mysterious feel! Nice use of the bass loop! Cool melodies too, it's more melodic than most dubstep I've heard. Really good job!
I love the track. One of the best Dubsteps Ive heard mainly cuz its so chill. I wish I could download this so I could listen to it in my car though. Keep up the good work and I look forward to hearing more from you.
Wow thanks Mr. Professor! It's my first attempt at something dubsteppish so really appreciate the compliment. Even though I know there are far more better dubstepper than me here, even on the chill side!
You can dl the track now, I wanted to make some adjustments before making it downloadable, which is now done...
This is insanity! You have a lot of music to listen through, I'll be sure to check it out :)
About the game boy thing...you can do it with an emulator too! Otherwise, you would have to invest in a flash cart ($40-$80) plus a working game boy ($5-$30).
Hmm Autechre... now that you mention it, there's certainly an influence here... maybe not directly, but stood as a state beyond consciousness while making the track. Actually, it started as a test of some vsts, but in the end I really liked where it was going, so decided to finish it and post it to get some reactions.
Seems like a positive experience!
Thanks again for taking the time to listen and review Kevin!
