I can tell you must been having great fun when you are making your tracks.I dont think anyone sounds like you or you sound like anyone. You should been making soundtracks to videogames in your spare time.Unique.
Yep, I do my best to have fun making music, I'm glad it shows through! Thanks for saying that it's original! I don't know the first thing about making music for games, but a lot of people seem to think my songs would be good for that. Thanks for your review friend!
I love organs!I really like your happy melodies, that made me laugh.Theres an almost sense of this song being played and recorded in real time. Some of the sounds reminds me of those old school arcade games.Nicely done.
Yeah, I dig organs too! I'm glad you liked the happy melodies! It wasn't recorded in real time, but I played it on my organ before I sequenced it, so it gave sort of a spontaneous feel to it. Glad you could get into it! Thanks much for the review and fave!
love that trebley glitchy beat, did you use a squeeze filter on it? This actually reminds me a lot of the residents! Definitely something you don't hear everyday!
Thanks for stopping by! No, that glitchy beat didn't use a squeeze filter. All drum sounds were individually programmed on my microkorg and used raw. I haven't heard much of the residents, maybe I'll have to look them up! Thank you for your kind comments and the fave!
Hey friend, glad you could get into this track! Still need to get a CD burner to upload my new stuff, but I'm having trouble with my internet computer that takes priority. I have to reinstall windows before I order my new burner. I'd love to hear a remix done by you of this song though! Thanks for stoppin in to check out my tunes!
Glad you made it safely through your ordeal. This track has a sort of demented whimsicality to it. I like it though. I like the idea of a Robo-jam band. Very cool sound! How inspiring!
Thanks for your supportive comments! Coming off those antidepressants can be tough. Demented whimsicality? I like the sound of that! Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving a review!
thought id drop by man.. really liked this very quirky the plucked instrument reminds me of a song that is on the tip of my tounge.. lol.. but great production here man.. keep em coming
i think you have set down a really great yellow brick road of electronica to travel on here. id be happy to remix or "merge worlds" on this. if that sounds like an idea you would be into drop me a line. i have a feeling that by looking into the subject of "indigo children/star children" may be of help 4 you. "crystal links" is a great web site too. books written about "indigo children" are better info sources than the web too. regards ..................................!1X1!....................................
Thanks so much for your kind comments! I'd love to have you remix this, but I'm in no condition to get together a remix pack for you. In fact I have no CD burner to transfer files to my internet computer. Sorry about that. Thanks for stopping by to listen and review!
Spiv man! Check out my new song "Appreciation" It features your Old School Bass D Maj beat to it! I made it for return for all the good reviews you gave me! :D
There's bits of this that remind me of early Daft Punk stuff, especially the synth that accompanies the bass. Though the drumwork outshines them by a mile. Makes me think of what it'd be like if Josh Wink were to get into IDM Breaks, ya know? And the bass (or low end guitar?) gives it a Industrial feel. This would be great to play some THPS to. Saved/faved. Lates!
Thanks for stopping by to listen to Valley! I'm not too familiar with Daft Punk's stuff, but I appreciate the comparison. I can see what you mean about Josh Wink too. Definitely an industrial vibe to this track in parts. I don't know what THPS is, but I hope you have fun playing to this song! Thanks for the review and the fave!
If yer wife was thinkin along the lines of old 50 foot atomic death bots, then I could see why she'd think this was scary. Coz I kinda get this vibe of being chased by some killin machine... If that machine was built like a Buick. I think it has something to do with the monotonous sound of that one guitar at the beginning (makes me think of either stomping feet or lazer fire or dare I say, electro-shock therapy... doing the "Lightswitch Raver").
This is such a groovin lil track... And it even sounds as if it uses that sound font I discussed in that other review. It works perfectly here IMO. The only thing that I think is off is the name... Mainly in relation to the first paragraph I wrote. Though that's completely "Toemaytoe-toemahtoe", because just because I'm thinkin of homocidal mechanisms don't mean the next person will. Ah ha, and there's my "Clarity", haha. Later on!
Yeah, I don't know if my wife was thinking about death bots, but I can hear what you mean! I'm glad you found it to be a groovy track! It's good you could find the "Clarity" in this track! Thanks for reviewing friend!
whats up up spiv! still getting down on that circuit bending i hear and it sounds good. always enjoy your tracks their so original. another nice job man! like the title.
wow It was a long way scrolling down to the 'post your review of this track' window :D
70 reviews for this track! you really are a Looperman Legend!
And for good reason man!
That lead will be in my head for days!
the percussions work REALLY well and the pads just give that little extra which makes this so amazing!
I also like the idea that I can almost recognize and name all the synths and samples you used because they're standard FL...
I stopped using those a long time ago and that you can make such a pretty track with it proves that you're a true artist!
Yeah, I can't believe the response this one has gotten, it makes me happy! I'm glad you like the lead on this one, as I think it turned out pretty good! I'm glad you like this, even though the sounds are pretty standard. Thanks so much for returning the favour of a review, and for faving this track! Appreciated!
SpivKurl you are truly talented! Im not a huge fan of trance but this track is really catchy and different and sounds like it should be on cd shelves. I never realised how talented a lot of people are on here and youre one of them :-)
You're very nice to say that I'm talented, as I still consider myself a beginner at trance. Thanks for saying it could be on CD shelves, you're too kind! Yeah Looperman is full of talented people, I love this place! Thanks so much for the kind review!
Spiv, This is the very best I have heard from you. This is amazing! the wah wah synths and the spoken word from your wife....everything fits together so well. Hands down, dude....this is your best.
The very best, huh? I'm really glad you think so, because I'm pretty proud of it! I really like using my wife's voice in production, I wish she'd do more recordings! Thanks so much for the review and the fave!
I dont think I have ever heard anything like this. VEry much in the vein of the great Spiv. Very original sound. Lol I like the gated vocals, very cool. and the horn sample ties it all together. Very very cool, SPiv!
Glad I could give you a new sonic experience with this one! Thanks for saying it's original! Yeah, the vocals turned out pretty good on this one. Thanks so much for returning the favour of some reviews!
I think someone else mentioned that this sounds like Bonkers, and I'd have to agree. Happy trance it is! Glad you like the lead! Thanks so much for taking the time to listen and review!
Interesting choice of sounds. Production is great, duh like that's not to be expected on a Spivkurl track, and the arranemnt is great (double duh, lol).
Although it is not a track I would listen to often, I do love it. It is increibly creative and gives me flashback of the old Get Smart TV show for some reason 8- 99 was hot :-)
You're too kind! I'm glad you could get into this track even though it's not your listening preference! I wonder what it is about this track that brings to mind Get Smart? Thanks so much for taking the time to review!

It's just not used nearly enough..
You might just polish it in without the music for more effect.
( you know like add the vocal in without the music then bring the music back )
