"Please check the light in the refrigerator door..." ? Haha, that's pretty wild mang! Suffice to say, I'm just luvin the vox on this! And right there I'm thinkin you could harvest a pretty killer song name. At the mo, my mind's on...

Or just FE which is the element label for Iron. Kinda odd, but what came to mind with the line above and all that stuff about "lone soldiers". Moving past that this keeps making me think of Uma Thurman's character from Pulp Fiction (dunno why). That'd be a cool costume idea if you were to make a music video for this.
On the tech-side, I don't really have anything for ya, coz this is so jammin. The only thing I could suggest is that ya do an up-tempo, Electro/Trip-hop mix of this (think along the lines of the Freestylers stylings of their newer stuff here)... Or maybe you could let someone else do it (friendly hook-up or mini-comp w/stems). Either way, I'm defo gonna save/fave this. Brilliantly done mate. Lates!
Thanks so much for your positive comments! I'm really glad you like the vocals, she did a great job! I left this as "Untitled" because that's what my wife's poem was titled and I didn't want to mess up her work. A remix of this would be cool, maybe I'll try to get some stems together later on. I really appreciate the review and fave!
The vox on this kinda remind me of a mix between Biz Markie and Frank Zappa. It also makes me think that this'd be what a slowed down mix of Funk would sound like. Course, Dub is a bit outside of my comfort zone (somethin about it just seems so alien to me). Maybe its a matter of tempo (slow bass is like throwin a curve ball in Baseball). At any rate, very good tune to just chill out to. Lates!
Biz Markie and Frank Zappa huh? That's a weird combination! Thanks for listening even though dub is out of your comfort zone! I appreciate your reviews!
Pretty cool . I think you should add some buildups ( like building with snare, open hihats , tambs or anything :P ) to keep the track running so it would give the track more energy . Good work with the track man
Thanks so much for your opinion! I'm glad you could get into this even without the buildups... I'm not very good at those. I'll try to practice them for future tracks. Thanks for listening my friend!
Hey Man! You sure have your own unique style in creating music. You managed to combine different elements and make something unique and original.I always like what you come up with and this is no exception :) I like how the track rolls out with that hidden dose of caffeine building it up more and more.Very cool industrial atmosphere! Reminds me a bit of some of Daft Punk's songs but with much more power and atmosphere! Great stuff! :)
Thanks so much for your kind comments! This track is still one of my favourites! Thanks for noticing the industrial atmosphere, I don't think most people pick up on that! Several of my songs have been compared to Daft Punk, maybe I should try listening to them. I really appreciate you listening and reviewing!
Scary? sounds kinda upbeat to me... Digging the industrial aspects here, I like the whole "textures in sounds" sorta thing you get from the genre. Very creative piece of music you have here.
Yeah, I thought it was a little upbeat too, glad you agree! "Textures in sounds"... I like the sound of that! Thanks so much for listening and reviewing!
I heard the remix of this track on the Screenplay profile,
so I wanted to hear the original that you made!
Track reminds me of songs from the Japanese games, simple yet complicated! If the track lasts 40 minutes, and I would be still listening to the song, great!Dl
Awesome song! I really love the high pitched bending melody, very unique and happy! The beat is solid and groovy, but I would listen to StreetsofNeon and work a little but more on it! The intro could use some more work, maybe add a buildup then dropoff and then come in with the melody. Also the bass drum is kind of lacking lower frequencies and the slight natural reverb that makes trance songs so entrancing. Great song as it is, and with a little more polishing I think could really be a hit. Oh and thanks for reviewing my track!
Thanks so much for taking the time to listen and comment! I appreciate your honest feedback! Maybe I'll go back and work on this some more when I get time! Thanks friend!
I absolutely love the plucked guitar on this. Did you use nylon strings? I think what makes 'em so great is that humanized sound quality they have (can see you playin 'em live, ya know). Kind of pairs well with the super artificial sound of the drum machine ya used on here. On that end I really dug the shakers and effected hits ya got. And sometimes it's good to keep things minim. Too many folks wanna throw everything at us at once these days it seems. Sorta nice when we're able to take a step back from that to just get swallowed up by the vibe and grooves of what's there. The only thing I wasn't so keen on is that one sound font ya used for the synth lead, but we've talked about that before and that's just me it seems. Anyways, nicely done mate. Later on!
Yeah, the guitar turned out nice on this one! No it's steel strings, but I can hear why you thought it was nylon. I'm glad you think the guitar works well with the artificial percussion, I know it's an odd pairing. Was definitely a song that needed to be minimal, I'm glad you agree! Sorry you didn't like the sound font, I guess I'm bad at choosing those, atleast for your tastes. Thanks so much for the listen and review!
It's been a while since I wanted to get back at you so I'm glad I found this track! Love the happy mood that grasps you since the very beginning with the drums, then that organ comes in and I'm even happier! Then that bass... it's an infinite loop of cheerful vibes! Great production, loved it!
Glad you could get some cheerful vibes off this song! It's meant to be sort of up beat! I love using organs, they just make me smile! Thanks so much for the listen and review!
I think I can help. A pad is just a type of synth. A pad usually has a slower attack. A pad is often played in chords to build the progression of a song. They often have sweeping effects on them like filters or flangers. I hope this helps a little bit!
Hey, thanks so much! I haven't seen the movie "hoodwinked", but I can definitely see a squirrel getting wired and dancing to this one! I'm glad you think this is a fitting title. Thanks for reviewing, DLing and faving! Enjoy your coffee!
I'm digging the style man. Very happy sounding. I've used this bass sound before, can't remember the name but I think it's in Sytrus. It's nice and fat but when you make it hit those super low notes it sounds a bit muddy. I'd try moving a couple notes up an octave to see how they sound.
The pad is nice and soft. You could try and side chain it to the kick so you could raise the volume of it without hurting the punch of your kick. If you used Sytrus for the lead, you could add some Sub level to beef up the sound a bit.
I like the automation you used on the filters. You could use still use more and I don't think it would be so distracting because of the repetitiveness of the track. Good stuff, man! Thanks for the feedback on my track.
I'm glad you found this to be happy sounding! Thanks so much for all the suggestions! I don't think I'll be changing this song, since it's gotten such a good response, but I'll take your suggestions to heart on future works! I really appreciate you taking the time to listen and review!
I love the lead on this one. It makes me smile as well. I am starting out my day with a great cup of Kona coffee and this wonderful track. You keep raising the standards for electronica (all genres). Really well done. I had to fav and download this one. It goes on the Bear's IPod :) Thanks for allowing me to download this one. Outstanding work. Bear
Hey Bear, glad I could make you smile with my lead! I take pride in making music that goes well with a morning cup of coffee, hope I didn't dissappoint. Glad you found this to be ipod worthy! Thanks so much for the listen and review!
Yeah, the vocals turned out good on this one. I'm glad you like it too! You should definitely use your own vocals more, I'd like to hear that! Thanks for the review and the fave!
Ive lisend to Mix3 and thaught it needs more variation.
What this track meens to me.. it makes me think how boring and repeditive life can get.. this track needs a happy ending.
Good work
Dig it. Had me rockin in the chair. Will be mixing in a few weeks again when I get home, but logged on and saw this featured and had to get my Spivkurl fix in. Kudos on the tech side.
