I never studied music really, just after a year I have taught myself, but d minor and c minor are usual trance keys. You can find them online. Dynamic, means it changes, just make it change more, make it shorter, because right now you have a a very skinny mile long road, we want a solid square, if that analogy made any sense at all, make it shorter and compress all the ideas!
What key do you use for your music, because this doesn't sound a regular trance key, they can make all the difference, I think your bassline would be killer if it was shifted a bit. Add a bit more layering, make it a little more dynamic, good ideas to far apart.
i did the bassline in the key of D i think, i have never studied music i just tap in what i think will sound good. and as for words like dynamic lol in a musical sense i have no idea what u mean im really sorry lol. very new to all this. i was tryin to make like a beach track. cheers for the review DaMann. ;)
I just love the name. I saw it and had to listen & I'm really enjoying what's been played so far. This takes me back to 80's Synth-Pop and kinda reminds me of this one song by Bruce Springstein (Hearts of Fire I think it's called). The fading distorted bass, awesome! Will def fav & sav this one. Thanks for sharing man. Later on!
24 with no reviews, hmm (looks down & shakes head). Anyways, my initial thoughts were that this could use some filtering on the beginning. It sounded to pronounced to me. I dunno though, it could just be my speakers. Anyways, I like the double kick used for the drums and the slightly eerie pads are great. It kinda gives it that whole Twilight Zone (the show) & Star Voyager feel. The keys and crazy effects added to 'em is kinda trippy. Anyways, it's a decent track, though it needs some tweeking. Lates!
The bassline in the beginning sounds more dnb, maybe you could sidechain it and it would be a very different but possibly great bassline! Also there is no intro, wait, just read its a sample, yeah keep working!
The drums are nice, but the bass drum I don't think should have that much reverb on it, or decay, I prefer to use just a solid hit. I would work the drums into it a bit, don't start off with everything bumping in the beginning, it will make the intro sound more dynamic. I really like it when the chorus comes in.
good progression here as always..bit too short tho..think you should take this one all the way and get a full track happenin with breaks, drops , builds the works!!! You have had a few tracks up now so want to hear a full rendition from ya...thats the only way to move forwards dude!!
Nice song, as the title goes psychotic it is. I like how varius synths go well together in this one. It has nice transitions and lovely drum line! Good job
Well you don't resemble your username...Def NOT lazy....Man u r really gettin the hang of this stuff!! Well done for a job well done! Very impressed...crackin melodies..and i felt a shiver run through me on the break which means your headin in the right direction...so keep at it....keep workin on your production too..you definitely have the music in you, just bang on with gettin it to sound great!! Keep up the good work dude!
