Hey this is a really fun and happy track. The melodies are playful and the piano does well in keeping the track and all the different synths together.
Really cool piece especially since you played all the parts. I can hear some of the synths slightly off but honestly I don't really see it as a flaw, rather a genuine music style derived from very slight human error.
I also find that some mixing to an extent along the creative musical process as an advantage because it helps to create a clearer musical picture. But in the end it all depends on the individual.
I haven`t had much music time lately...but I just had to log in to leave you a big WELL DONE on this one cellar door...your vocal reminds me a bit of Karen Carpenter...a good song, well delivered and accompanied outshines any of those little technical/production issues that may concern you..and there is absolutely nothing wrong with this production..you have a nice warmth to the vocal & those mic limitations don`t seem to matter...this is in fact better that a majority of the vocals I hear posted...I would much rather hear the natural dynamics & expression than a squashed/limited to death version...great job...this one is a keeper (write it down somewhere)....Fav,,....Ed
Vlad Vikernes (Burzum) used an xbox mic to intentionally get a horrible sounding vocal on his recordings, thought of that with your description :p Beautiful...
I see you're really enjoying your new equipment, and this
enjoyment surely reflects in your musical achievements.
Once again you produced very fine track with full and clear sound! Well done!
This is quite a groovy track. It has a bit of a retro style to it, which really appeals to me. The synths sound a bit like the old Mellotron. I have a Mellotron VST (GForce M-Tron Pro) that I use quite a bit. Anyway; good job!
Hello mate,
Wow I love this track mate, so refreshing to listen too.
Its really well put together,
It’s a great sounding track.
Well done to you mate.

Hey this is really uplifting I really like it. It feels relaxing for me. There are lots of variations to keep interest and the climax helps to build that inspiring feel. I cant really comment on the mix as I have much to learn there.
Considering your background in music and your tenacity (3 tracks in a few days), I think once you get the hang of your DAW (music program) and the mixing elements your going to become elite.
Sometimes it can be difficult to find a vocalist, have you tried poking through the 'pellas section? Also cctmixter (similar site) has 'pellas free for use. Welcome to Looperman where you'll learn more than you could ever imagine! :p Noteflight looks pretty neat, I just got Forte, a similar program. They were doing a promotion and giving it away free for a limited time. Have yet to experiment with it. This is really good, I love orchestral music, it can be even more powerful than metal! Eq'ing and all that fun stuff, practice makes perfect :p
Thank you, phatkatz4! The warm welcome is nice. =) Thanks for the tip about cctmixter; I hadn't heard of that site before. I'll go check it out. Enjoy trying out Forte; will you let me know what you think of it? Thanks for the compliment about the track; I think I'm going to enjoy this community with its wealth of support and knowledge.
Loving the pop vibes of this one man! I think you could eq the "electric guitar" lead better that comes in at 0:43, that would help clean up the mix a bit. Overall great track!

I meant for example the synth pad from 0.45 is a bit much...listen it when it stops (1.05) the drum comes in front again...from 2.33 same problem with another drum...pad is too harsh, don't really hear the bass or bass synth...
Thanks! Yesterday my son literally tied himself up in dental floss (don't worry, he's fine) while I was writing, so I guess I was kind of zoned out from real life for a while. =)
This song is more than electro for me...there is a massive rock attitude in here...the lead instrument is like a guitar (if it is, the tone is not the best on my humble opinion...) The structure of the number is very cool, though...some mixing problems are there too but don't want me to talk about cause I'm not pro on that...just hear that stg is loud, stg is weak sometimes...I think you used 2 drum tones...the first one is hyper cool from start to 2.25...
Thank you! I'm just now adding beats to a new song and one of your loops is the beat in the intro. =) Thanks for the welcome; I feel like I'm in Disneyland. I love that you describe this as having "massive rock attitude"--that makes my heart sing. Hey, what do you mean when you say "stg"? I don't know that term.
Pretty good attempt. A lot of good things to hear. The melody is good and i clearl yhas a head and a tail. The progression is pretty ok as well. The main synth is a bit too loud in comparison to the rest. You should lower it a bit. Then the drums come more out as well. Still good work!
