Coolest intro I've heard in a long time! Great mix and loop choices. You're bang on about the sub bass, my system at school is big, and I had the German teacher from next door come through because her classroom window was vibrating lol...
Great arrangement and production...
Thanks alot bro. wanted to make a track that you could taste the energy on n i think i just about got it! i love how that intro came together too. anyway thanks again slap! glad u liked it!
i know what you are sayin. i kinda felt ehh about the happiness level of it but i liked to melody. so i thought i'd balance it out with some darker samples n such.
glad u liked it =]
thank you so much blair. means alot comin from you! as long as you guys enjoy it i'll be here to make it. and probably a little while after that aswell. =]
haha thank you so much =] thats my first fav so far =P
I'll def let you know when i drop the final cut. there will be many more random vocals to come just you wait!
Hmm. I like your bass kick pattern, and the synth has a good sound to it, but i think it could do well with the kicks being a bit louder or crunchier. It may just be my taste, but i think it would sound more 'whole' if the kicks had more volume to them.
Keep on with this song, i'd like to hear what it sounds complete :D
Thanks =] i know what you are sayin and ive been playin with it to get the kicks to the level i want but its bein a bitch. like i said this is my first time usin fruity loops and it's been kickin my ass all day but im gettin the hang of it now. I'll def let you know when i get the final cut on here =]
really appreciate the comments. ill definately try and use those fixes u recommended. the keys are a loop, one of Mr Robot's i think. its Dance Keys 3 or something like that. yeah i slowed down a higher bpm drum loop and was goin for that slow-mo esque drum effect but it didnt quite feel right for me either so ill try a new one. anyway thanks again, look out for my second try lol. oh and i only use free-ware right now, program i use is TrakAxPC. waitin til i get the hang of it before i invest in a premium program. if u know of any good free-ware lemme know!
take care
What software did you use for this? The piano part is great, and it definitely has a good "chill" factor to it. My one concern is that it sounds as though you may have used a drum track that was too far up in BPM and slowed it down, causing that kind of metallic reverb sound. If that's not what it is, and that is what you were going for, then mt bad. I think the track sounds great, and I really do like it, the drums are the only comment that I have. You also may check the end, as it is a bit abrupt. Fade it out and it is money.
You may try and add a background guitar part to this. Something Minor, and dissonant, you know what I mean?
Hey!i heard your track and that what i can say is maybe you should put a little bit bigger tempo at about 127-130BPM!make interesting sound and everything will be OK!
Hey nice smooth sounds! I just hope that when you finish this track that you add some more jive to the melody. I kept waiting for melody, maybe it's a long wait for it to come in. Enjoyed the drum samples, but maybe needs some touching up and drum fill-ins to smooth out the rough. Nice track!
Mhm, I have to agree the drums are nice. Panning is sexy. Only issue i have with this song, is it seems the house piano sounds out of place to me. I like the melody of it, just...ionno, it doesn't fit with the rest of the song to me =/
But it's not bad at all! - for just whipping it up with loops and while you're on the road xD Props for that ;P
thanks for the feedback, very appreciated! i agree on the piano bit. i meant to go back and blend the two together but lost the flow n left it lol.
ill keep an eye out for your work!
