Yeah, this totally works. I need to try mixing some vocals sometime! Sony Acid will alter a track's tempo to make it fit my other tracks automatically. Is that cheating? :) Anyway, I like the beats here. Eshar makes some really fun tunes, and I enjoyed your interpretation.

Walked into the other room to get a glass of water while listening and the vocals startled me, made me jump. Sounded like someone else was in the room with me. :) Not sure about the end. It's all chill and mellow then that string bit comes in that makes me think of agitated bees or something, breaks the mellow for me. But overall, pretty nice!

Strange sound of piano. Like something is not in the place. I don't know if it's good or not, but it's original.
Anyway, strings and vocal is just awesome, it makes me feel somehow,.
If you tweak some piano places I would definitely add to favorites as it has emotion thing.

So, good luck.
Cheers.

Hey thanks for reviewing. The whole track has a disjointed feel echoing the vocal, I would like to have said this was intentional, but I just ain't that good a piano player and maybe a bit tone deaf LOL! It is what it is!

incredible musical work. standing ovation for your string and key composition. love it. alividlife's acapella? nearly too painful to listen to. not sonically but mentally. great work man.

Thanks Ken. Yes the pain just dripped from Alividlifes pella, I was really drawn to it.

Review appreciated.

this songs really pretty. really diggin' the vocals on this one, however the vocals seem timed a little wrong in this song, may want to re-check bpm match

Thanks for the listen Steph.

It a bit of a stitch up, so I'am not sure I could do much more with it, the idea is there tho!

Nice jazzy track. More melody than I would expect from a jazz track in a sense. Not making myself real clear here but it sounded a bit more than just a jazz track. Maybe a bit of modern Techno/House influence. I liked it.

Yeah I know what you mean, you can't really hang on to anything in a Proper jazz track. Gonna change the genre as you suggest, anyho glad you liked and thanks for the review.

I really like the vocal elements of this track, and how they interplay with the bass line. The piano really suggests jazz, with the short trips out of key. Very cool arrangement throughout! Very nice work!

Straying away from Rap? I like it. Almost a latin beat. Good percussion. Kind of funky for House but those genres never seem to fit anyway. Catchy. Interesting sounds. I like this direction.
Explore some more and I'll listen. I'm liking it.

I like this one Steevo. Works for me. Very mellow. Nice melody. Good well-balanced mix in my opinion. Flows nicely. You did a great job putting this together. What was that drum beat at the end though? Was that my system? or an errant sound?

wow...

i am really... thinking.. about... that... moment...

i remember... not being able to look myself in my eyes...

but.. i love.. how you have framed this!
it.. makes my little.. sadness. my negative inertia.. my pure distaste for my body, my life, and my mind, seem.. inconsequential to the great depression of many.

I love it.
wow... this is one of those moments i won't forget.

wow

*post edit*
ok, i have to be real with you.
these are some of my production points.. the song is AMAZING

This is AMAZING.
but, i want to add, my pella may be flat? or is the composition sharp a little? you can adjust that with some automation?

also.. I think some velocity sensitivity on the piano would draw more emotion out of the Pianos. Add a room reverb to it!!

Great MIXING. Unusual and Fantastic arrangement.

I wish I could sing it better for you now.. but there is no way. I am not that man anymore.
I love it.

Thanks for listening, there pitch problems, but I kinda reckon they don't take too much away as the vocal has a dischordant feel that fits the track, but the pitch issues where not deliberate, and would probably be easier on the ear if fixed.
Glad you like the mixing cos I gotta say, some time was spent on that element, and some good advice was passsed to me by SuperClutz (Thanks)
to add some background (Crickets were suggested but ony had brids and dogs so had to make do LOL).
Really worked tho, cos it took the whole thing outside. Pleased with the end result.

Stay well.

Regards.

Nice n catchy man. Sounds like an innovative experiment that i would try. I'm really curious with your other tracks. I'm heading over there now. Excellent job. Love ur pic by the way. Hey i would love to do a remix of this. Do u have the vocals tracked out so i can layer and chop em up. I think thats what this track needs is some restructuring of the vocals and some chop shop tactics with the beats. I'll deliver it straight 2 u if u would like. If u like it then load it up. I think ud be surprized with my remix skills. Metal sharpens metal
