Description : My attempt at a good old blues song, hope I didn't butcher it too badly. 2 guitar tracks, 1 drum track (midi), double tracked the vocals and used a pitch correction to get the one octave down effect. This is my first attmept at slide guitar. Cubase 5.

Id like an opinion on how i should add Symbols to the drum track. Should it be every beat, or every other beat? what you think would sound right?

Description : This is a nice crunk beat that I composed. Shout out to DustHill for his skills on some of the loops I used. I compiled the drum track myself. A tune from several years ago that my buddy Mike Bright wrote.He plays guitar and bass on this as well.I just sing.I did play drums on this but either it was a bad recording,or my drum playing was wasn't up to snuff.Or maybe both :).I left the drum track off for now.We recorded this on my old Zoom MRS 802cd.The tracks I had were in pretty bad shape so I did the best I could.I thought these were excellent lyrics by my friend Mike.

Description : This was inspired by a little software piano sound generator. It would create random patterns, so I messed around with the settings and recorded 2 sequences. I then added a middle eastern sounding percussion and drum track, and ended this short little tune with some seriously messed up piano - scratchy record noise via Vinyl software. Bass was a sample of my electric bass.

I had to fine tune a couple of things, but I. AM. DONE.! with this track! If I do anything else, I may need an intervention...lol
I think this track holds the record for most "tweek time".
I would guesstimate that I have spent 24 hours alone just tweaking and fine tuning... and I still am not happy with it...lol.
I also thinks this hold the record for the most samples on a drum track I ever used in a single song. To get this "crashing sound" I wanted, it took 7 samples alone, and that is just the kick drum part.
I hate being a virgo.

As for the ending to the song, I blame drugs in my youth!

Description : a track that kind of grew on it's own from the drum track. I remember wishing I could write something like "In the air Tonight' without copying it. I wrote this in a hotel room in chattanooga, tn., possibly in a fit of depression.

Description : this collaboration started out as a drum track that salook sent me. it was a little over a minute long. it contained vocals and efxs some reversals too. i doubled the length added some bassline and pads.afew fx of my own and a lil percussion. here you have it the second salook/arkeyetek work. april 28th, uploaded the extended remixed version. runs a bit over 7 mins. a little less tectonic and more ambient.

Description : I did some remixing to my song, I bought the new Drumaxx module for FL studio so I made a new drum track as well. Comments are encouraged. I want to further refine this, help would be appreciated.
Description : Made this in Live. Drums from drum rack mixed individually kick snare hi-hat.
froze a reverb from the snare and gated it for ambiance in the drum track.
Used e.q. multi band compression and multi band stereo to spread the hi end.
chorus on the hi hat. Played the the e.p. riff, bass and vox pad from motif. Added
vinyl crackle and boosted air to fill out the sound. Mixed in headphones because
my girl was asleep. I think the low end needs to be tweeked.
This track has a 4 bar bridge after the voice pad sound. Or you could rap over thee
e.p. riff and use the last 4 bars with no bass as a bridge.
