Description : This is another 1-hour song challenge. This time I'm stepping away from acoustic ballads and going for something a little louder.
I also must admit I overran by a few minutes because of technical difficulties during the recording process. But I got there in the end. Let me know what you think :)

All me .. apart from Ezdrummer. Using Studio One.. my Hamer guitar. Yamaha bass guitar. Ez mix and a GA project microphone. Hours of mixing and mastering Used some effects from my Zoom R16 which I use as an audio interface. TRACK EDIT gone back to this one and changed the ending

Description : Song by a band in which I'm the singer - Splintered Puppets. I hope ya's dig it. It was recorded through a Behringer Xr18, 4 mics on the drums(Bonham style), mesa boogie/sm58, bass direct, vocals using a Sterling ST77. Mixed and mastered in Sonar Platinum with various plugins from Waves, Izatope etc. No overdubs on the instruments. Band was tracked live vocals redone afterwards.

Description : I've been singing this song around campfires with my acoustic guitar for years and finally sat down and recorded it. This classic has been performed by Sam Cooke (he wrote it), Jimmy Buffet and Cat Stevens; my version is most like Buffet's but after playing it for so long, I've kind of made it my own. The backing vocals during the chorus were inspired by the likes of Shanana and written by yours truly. I'm very happy with how this turned out.

Description : A heavy-ish Rock track that has four main sections, melodic moments, a few soloing attempts in the hopes of continually getting better, and a rather quiet frog. All real guitars and basses played by me, with SD2 behind the kit. An organ, strings and a celeste make appearances. All critiques and criticisms are welcome. Let me know what you think and how it could be made better. Nice to post something again.
