Heavy Metal Songs, Tunes, Beats & Mixes

Description : Ubermetal

Description : This is the first song I put together. The drum was created using leafDrums 2 and the bass and guitar parts were all recorded by me. Believe it or not, it was all played on my bass using my Zoom BFX-708 fx pedal. This song is screaming for lyrics of any kind so feel free to add to it, just let me know if you use the track.

Description : A tragedy has occured! The mighty Slayer and the legendary Rush have collided their tour buses head on and all have been torn to pieces! But wait! A mad scientist has pieced them together and they have just released a new track. This is it...... Yeah, whatever! Just enjoy!

Description : I found a list of tracks that just played together really well. I mixed the whole song using leafDrums 2, the cleaned, phased, echoed, and amplified the bass using adobe audition 1.5. This song reminds me of old Satriani and all i want to do is get my car on the freeway and haul #####!! Ha! enjoy people, tell me what you think.

Description : Decided to put the orchestral stuff on hold for abit, and made a metaltrack instead. Most of the effort here is put in the drums.
Hope you find this piece enjoyable..!

Description : Scenario:
A new band is performing at a place where you're drinking and having fun with your mates - this is their first punch towards you - how does it feel?

(All music by Steinaa.)

Description : A sunday (space) jam involving a tiny part of loops from other people on the site. The sound on this one kind of reminds me of In Flames in certain ways, and I'm pretty happy with that.
Anyway - this was done in reaper with Addictive Drums, my beloved jackson rr3 and my pod x3.
Hope you find it interesting :)

Description : This is a track with a few loops from the looperman-community.
You could probably say that I was inspired by a group named Kovenant, and the songs Kper has done lately. So thanks alot for your musical contribution Kper :)
Done with my very own Jackson RR3, my Line 6 POD X3 along with Reaper and AD.
Enjoy!

Description : So.. this is my "comeback-track" after a few weeks without my own computer and recording-possibilities. Its the finished version of the intro I put out - I grabbed a scream from Zikanis on the site just for fun of it - I think it fit pretty well. Hope you enjoy it..!

Description : Another track I recorded/mastered for In Feiyne. This one is missing some stuff, IE Blee hasn't recorded his vocals yet for it, which would replace some of the sreaming parts that Jake did I think. And we'll probably re-record the guitars and record the bass. But I figured I'd put it up to see what you guys think. Be sure to add the band on myspace! www.myspace.com/infeiyneband

I need criticism on my mastering/engineering job so far, so if you have some constructive criticism please share.

Description : Wrote this back in November 2007 when i was still listening to a bit of metal. Especially Godsmack. The ONEMB name is the name i released it under = one man band, i release only my electronic stuff under The Krakafaktri title.
All instruments played by myself including the vocals, which i'm not real proud of, especially the lyrics for want of a better word, but it was better than leaving it instrumental. I aint one for writing lyrics or stories ya dig! I aint much of a lead singer either, im better suited to backing vocals or stuff in my range capabilities. So bah!!! Anyway, Guitar was played through Steinberg's Warp VST, Delay from PSP84 VST with BT Phaser PH2s, Bass in NI's Guitar rig 2 & Drums were originally played by me on my Yamaha dtxpressII midi drum kit through NI's Battery 3, then edited further to make them tight, due to latency issues, they were not very tight too begin with. But you deal with that. Vocals through the Rode NT1-A through .....wait for it...Waves C1 gate, Nomad Factories Analouge Signiture Studio Channel, Lives compressor, Waves Doubler, Lives Simple Delay & finally ..Nomad Factories Liquid Delay.......now do you want fries with that? OK, so all in all, i think the production was not too bad for home made metal. Dig it or die!! ha ha ha!!! Don't take this track too seriously.

Description : i used a loop from purge plus i chopped up and remashed some loops from myhst and bolbozo
and then i decided to sing a little
this track was made in 3 hours and i may or may not work on more
-note this is metal which includes things metal :)

Description : This is a song I recorded/engineered for a local band. One of the band members is a user here on the site, his s/n is JJy if you want to search for him. (I have permission from the band to upload this).

Tell me what you think of both the composition and the recording and mastering jobs, as I want to know what I can improve upon.

If you want to check out the bands music go to their myspace page: www.myspace.com/infeiyneband

Description : This is a metaltrack I worked on for the last few days. It contains a small amount of electronic samples. All music by Steinaa - hope you like it :)

Description : Another dance/metal-fusion. Spacey enough?

Description : Ever since I got a hold of addictive drums I've been doing less electronic style tracks. But I think I'm going to be working on some drum and bass here in the near future. This was another experiment with AD when I first got it. The metal riffs are quite old, but I still enjoy them. If anyone wants to put vocals to this, let me know so I can send it to you. And as always let me know what you think

Description : This is the result of the intro I put out a few days ago. All music by Steinaa :>

Description : "I hate you" done in Slayer2 on a relic with Delay Llama on vox. Sounds like a bunch of mulletheads in a trailerhome.
The Harley in the intro is my buddy Rahul burnin' da Hog.

Description : A psychiatric diagnosis that describes a mental disorder characterized by abnormalities in the perception or expression of reality.
Let me know if there's something you like/dont like :)

All music by Steinaa : ]

Aleksander Steinaa

Description : For those of you who like Children Of Bodom and In Flames - give it a chance? :)

Description : This track brings up visions of an old, unspecified movie with ships and pirates - and the pirates are closing in on a merchant-ship to take over it.. But hey - its only my imagination :p
Its an orchestral metal-piece. I was really satisfied with the drums on this one, but feel free to comment on them or anything else :)

Description : After a break from the metal-scene - I made this one today. For those of you who like In Flames; give it a chance - I think you'll like it.

Description : If I was supposed to recommend one of my songs to you guys - this would be it. I have spent a 'few' hours on this one.. equalizing.. mastering.. re-recorded some stuff.. sheesh.
But it was worth it. Every second of it. The quality on this is probably the best so far..
And for you guys who wonders where the 'metal' in this song is - chill - its out there in the song - just listen..

Description : Old track. Inspired by Neurosis, Down type doom metal. I put this together myself from little ideas here and there after jamming with some friends and old band members.

Description : My new track....
Rearranged, instrumental version... There will be one with vocals and different arrangement... soon, i hope...
