This track gives me the chickenpocks... why?
Because my daughter Amy did the vocals on this one.
I know it's not the best quality vocals but I have to start somewhere to make this experience one of mine...
I used a bit of Neptune but she does not really needs it...

Description : New Horizons is my first fully digital/MIDI track recorded using just my guitar with a MIDI pickup. The title seemed fitting because this track represents stepping into a whole new musical world with the guitar. The cinematic feel of the track also makes me picture standing on an epic landscape, taking in an amazing view with the wind blowing around me and a whole new horizon ahead, either that or the video game zelda... :)

Nice piece, good intro, love the beat and bassline to this one driving piece along very nicely, nice pads/synths, your daughter has done a great job on vocals, pick up a couple of clicks at end of vocals well sounds like they are on the vocals? could be wrong there, apart from that this is one very good listen, credit to you both for sure, hopefully we will get more from you both in the future, look forwad to that...fav'd...Peace n Respect to you and Amy...Estefano...

But I have to stay on the ground and improve my skills on vocals ;)

pretty nice track you have put together.
love the arp and gate youve used.
my only concern is the vocal, it could use some more reverb.

Yes, simplicity was the (lazy) key here...
This track is one big vocal experiment.
I wanted to know how I could do vocals on my own... No studio, just a mic and a lot of retakes of the lyrics :-P
Used only a mic with a headphone for Amy to listen to the track when she was singing.
It's fun to making music this way... a lot to explore!
And... she's a real producer too because she had her own mind on this track... I think it's too slow (I had a 145bpm version but she did not liked that)..
