Thank you for your question bro! No matter what to use for creating (I have very old and cheap speakers btw), but for mixing I use headphones Sennheiser HD650. But quality of music depends only of skills and hearing and ofc experience. Such questions I asked many many times, I'd say I did it everytime I heard good music, my favourite one. To fill the space with pads you have to put several layers (this track has 3 ones + sub bass and couple of layers located to both sides). Every layer must take its place over stereospace and has only necessary frequencies so it wouldn't conflict with others. This explanation isn't enough for you to understand the whole thing yet, so you should go to YouTube, it's filled with information. Actually I'm always not satisfied with sound I get, because I aspire to get the same level my favourite artists have. But there were times when this level was for me just dreams (like name of this track haha), so being persistent it what we need when we learn :)

Bro I make it by myself. Get any acapella (better long loop), take just a little part of it (spend some time to choose the best of it, it's the most important thing), get its formant lower and put a verb and/or delay + compressor + EQ a bit = result. Good thing for vocal chops are mid frequencies, they make track soooo deep. Just practice and make experiments, it's quite easy actually. Good luck bro, hope my explanation is useful!
