Hello Mickey, I have to agree with my big brother (Pnnywze) - u had balls of steel to do this one and it paid off. Really well done. Im new to the community so Ive been kinda following my bro's listening, and he again proves his great taste and ear for music. Im glad I pressed play on this one. Great work. - Jared aka vizzio
Listening to this one again made me reflect on the history the original version has - Music Written by stevie wonder, Vocals written by Smokey. Probably my favorite song of his. U have to have confidence to the moon to even attempt a version of your own. Yet u did, and its well done and stands on its own merit. That deserves a favorite, my friend.
Yes, I know the story of the song too... Stevie had finished writing the music but no lyrics. Then he apparently presented the recording to Berry Gordy at a Motown party and he gave it to Smokey who then wrote the lyrics. The lyrics fit the music so closely it's a joy, isn't it? I was lucky that everything went so smoothly the day I recorded it... I usually take weeks to do a track... this one was done in two days. Ha.
Thank you for listening and for your encouragement (because trust me, I was scared shitless to release this).
Dont get me wrong, but the beat sounds so silly and I love it! My full time job is being a video game engineer. And this Track is a great moodsetter. A game called Tower Unite has very similar sounding music and it's always regareded as one of the best parts of the game. I really like the unique sound that you have!
Thank you for stopping by and listening, always much appreciated. I don't get you wrong at all, you're completely right about that rhythm. Sometimes its the silly things that connect people.

Hello Micky
it is awesome and is has its own originality. You sound as if it was written for you but you do respect the history of the song and its first performers.
Excellent work
Wish you the best, Anthony
Hello Anthony,
really glad you liked it ... I was worried that the title would be too much of a classic for many people and that it would turn them off, but apparently there are some, like you, who enjoy listening to my slightly modified version. Thank you, dear colleague...
I love music its my love and life and the tune you picked is a classic. Your voice sounds really good its a really cool modern version.
I really loved your cover of the tune you did a dam good job my friend.
Well done.
Hi Darren, thanks for stopping by and having a listen. I was actually a bit unsure, as the risk of ending up embarrassing is pretty high with such iconic templates, but I'm all the more pleased that you liked it.
Cheers,
Micky
great cover Mickey, i love this track too, love your vocal production, you sound really good and done the track justice, you made it your own, really enjoyed the listen, oh yeah baby
Thank you Paul, it may be too pop for many people here, but I just had to do it because I've wanted to do it for years and now it's happened. But ultimately it's just an exercise in singing in multiple voices and mixing them. It's also a prime example of the classic structure of a pop song with verse, bridge, chorus, etc.
Cheers,
Micky
Great cover Micky - cant believe there are not more cover versions of this tune. This one has a very impressive vocal performance and an amazing mix - actually I love everything about it : )
All right, man, I see u. U have a good voice, much better than I have, I must admit. And u can tell youre having fun, which is an important aspect of creating music that some seem to forget over time. Nice work, man. I hope Your enthusiasm always stays strong enough to match your talent.
Yes, I had a lot of fun with that, which is probably why it was finished so unusually quickly... Thanks for listening and for the kind words.
Cheers,
Micky

Description : I wrote this song a little while ago and originally called it "Gave You All Of Me" but I came across a beautiful track Free to use by HVRTZLAB and decided to exercise My Vocals & do a rough draft on this track. May re-do the full song at some point when I get more time. THX to all who support My work. Stay Safe/Blessed People.
Description : Whilst remixing an older song I did discover Purpl from Bristol here in the Acapella section. She was also looking for a remix and now I merged both songs together. It was a pleasure to do because it feels like a positive song lifting up the mood. Hope she is Ok with putting her into a different genre. And yes, the kick is a bit cheesy :-)
