I'm hearing a 90s vibe to this, probably based on the New Jack Swing like drumbeat being used. I like the retro feel of it, since a fat drum kick was a mainstay of that genre (Teddy Riley's pieces come to mind). So I can understand why its strong in your composition. But I have to agree with Henry that the drums need to be lowered a bit, because all the great melodies you've got going on are being pushed to the background.
My head was nodding throughout. I really enjoyed this.
There are some fixing you have to do. The kick-loop is too fat, bury all the sounds in background, and needs some variations. The bass-line (as more than someone said in my latest track too) need to be raised. These are my tricks: kill the drums/kicks volume, then add a default drum compression, last add default reverbe, around 3%: it gives some ambient to drums. Pump the bassline at the frequence of 60Hz, and stereoized it. Last, add a further bassline (deepest as possible and one octave down the original one), set as mono and add a subtle flanging. At the end i like this song, of-course w/ vocals would be better, but first fix the mixing of instrumentals.
Thanks! I definitely was hitting a brick wall and needed another set of ears... I was hoping maybe lyrics would help me shape the rest of the song... I was definitely getting ahead of myself..

Whether female or male, doesn't matter. I'm going for something like In The Name of Love by Martin Garrix & Bebe Rexha, or Happier by Marshmello & Bastille. DM me so we can work something out.

I was forced to stop, because even if I render every pattern, the project was still lagging. I think I got my style. 808 slides and electric guitar in a future bass song.

i used 3 loops from looperman and added some of my own stuff:
1. woozybeats - digitalien (main melody)
