Description : Got a new track here, which seems to fit with the hardcore aesthetic, what with the tempo, hard kicks, and driving bass. We'll see what others' will hear though. This song has been about 11 months in the making, and finally came together with the addition of some psycholotrystic field recordings. No evil spirits were harmed during the recording of this song. Features my circuit bent Tyco Hotkeyz, a track of modular synth, and some helpful controllerism. This is meant to be on dirty lofi side for the most part, so don't come complaining to me...! Oh yeah, you're the one into the flip side of hardcore, I forgot! This is cool! The comment "you need to process the vocal much more (unless you're trying to pull emulate your style to spivkurl's, which is cool i guess" was really very funny to me. Both because sometimes I feel like I process my vocals far TOO much, and because this is very different from most of my styles. Though I can hear a lot of Skinny Puppy/Ohgr in this, and they/he are some of my biggest influences. Don't let anyone keep you from doing what you love, because it rocks. I would not recommend giving this vocals more of a stereo presence, as they are clear enough and very focused... those are what I look for in a main vocal. Very great song! Faved!

Definitely hardcore. It is pretty energetic. Wasn't really into it though to be honest. The mix seems overly distorted unless this was intentional. But whenever I hear a the term "hardcore" I do think of something kind of distorted. I do like the lyrics at points. The instrumentation is actually well done. Just not what I'm listening to right now. Keep it up. peace

I like the instrumental, but like others said the vocals need work. The lyrics are nice, but the vocals just need to be better recorded and better mixed. It sounds like you have a filter on it or something. Other than that, nice work here.
I would like to ask though, if you don't mind: What mic do you use for vocals? And how did you process it in the DAW?

Personally, I like the way the vocal sounds. I think it may be a matter of taste at this point. Maybe the vocal could have more stereo presence since the song is so driving but this definitely well-put together. A little bassy but very good :) Cheers and welcome to the site :P
