Much appreciated bruv, im still pretty new to making tracks but im slowly getting there. just trying to build my knowledge as well. so any pointers or sounds you think would go well, please do let me know. im happy you enjoyed the feel as thats what i was kinda going for, but i know exactly what you mean the track is lacking . if you want i can send you the flp and maybe make some changes too and see what comes out of it.

The drums were very unexpected to hit in. Struck me by surprise. I liked that a lot. And the overall emotion is very up, the drums are energetic and it vibes of positivity. Nice work!
But, I would've personally used some other samples for the accompany of the cello. I'd suggest you try to use something else rather than a 8bit tone sounding signal(not if this was your intention for your project ofcourse). All in all, the drums really create liveliness in this particular piece. Keep creating my friend.
