Description : Pretty sick dubstep track if you ask me. Nice melodies, cool basses, all made in FL Studio 10.
Over on my Soundcloud we're doing an informal remix thing, be sure to check that out. It's less formal than the Looperman remix rules (which are just a little too strict). Any and EVERY remix will be posted on my Facebook page and in the track description (on Soundcloud). A link to my Soundcloud can be found on my profile.
Also, soon I'll be adding some more loop content, which will include variations of the drum loop that's in this track. Be on the lookout for that!
Description : Sorry for not posting to looperman in awhile guys, I've been doing a lot of remixes, but more originals and tutorials are coming on here soon!
Anyways, this track I went very experimental with, blending elements from a lot of styles like glitch, ambient, abstract, new age, electro, dubstep, and of course darkstep. I made this in FL Studio, making all loops/sounds myself. :)
Description : I tried to write a Liquid DnB track because I have become addicted to liquid over the past month. I wrote the track in FL Studio using loops and sounds I made myself.
I have to say making the piano was the hardest part... I wanted it to be muffled on some notes and clear on others, which was a challenge.
Overall I love the track, and I think it's definitely relaxing. :)
I wrote this in a combination of software, Musagi (a small, C++ program similar to tracking, but with more synthesis capabilities [it's free, you know you want it]), and FL Studio, my favorite DAW. I used Musagi to make some of the Lo-Fi bass sounds, only one bass was made entirely in FL Studio. That bass is my lead wobble sound though, I did a tutorial on how to make it, link will be farther down.
The way I went about making the melodies is the same as I always do, I sit down at the piano and play some notes.
Description : I wrote this song because I liked it.
I composed and arranged this track, designed all synth sounds, the kick, snare, and clap. The hi hats and ride are from the 808 (of course).
If you download off Looperman, you are cursing yourself. There will be a higher quality .wav posted on my Soundcloud: http://soundcloud.com/o-a-e
If you don't download the higher quality .wav, may the force be with you.
It's got a lot of bass. If you can't hear it then you have a problem, I don't need to add more. In fact there is more bass then there is in my dubstep songs. :P
I'm moving back for a little bit to doing electronic love songs again, no more hardcore for awhile. :)
Description : Shout out to Fayz for the screamo vocal!!
I didn't have any collab projects to work on today, so I scrounged up the effort to make this in FL Studio, using drums, basses, synths, and pretty much everything made by me. I didn't make the insanely awesome screamo vocal though, that was Fayz.
Description : This is my first attempt at writing a laid back Dr. Dre style beat.
I wrote this track in FL Studio, using loops I made myself. I hate it when people make songs that they didn't even write the loops.
I think all it needs is someone rapping/singing! If you want to sing in it just hit me up! Tell me in the review section please, Looperman has a horrible PM system.
Made this house track in FL 9, all loops this time. :)
Every sound is mine. I know the main synth lead never drops with the drums, I wanted it that way. If you can come up with lyrics for it, feel free to use the track, show me the finished song! :D
Description : This is my first electro house track, waaaaay different then my normal chiptunes and Hardcore. I wrote this in FL Studio, making every synth sound, and most samples, except the snare. This one has all loops, except one drum pattern, the hi hats to be specific. Played them on keyboard. :)
Description : I wrote this track in FL Studio, everything was made as a loop, as the main melody was too intense for me to play on keyboard. ^_^ This one I started with the intro and worked my way through, on most tracks I start with the breakdown and go from there, so this one has a stronger, harder intro. The bass was the hardest part of the whole track, getting the resonance, filter decay, distortion, and sidechaining working together took a little more then an hour. The next hardest was the Screecher, getting it noisy enough but still having pitch took a bit of time. I messed with the stereo separation a lot more on this track, headphones are recommended!
Description : I wrote this track with a combination of loops and recordings. The main melodic riff was played on keyboard, everything else consists of loops and samples arranged in FL Studio. I used a sample for the following:Hats, Rides, Claps, Cymbals, and Vocals. Everything else is my creation. If you would like me to separate a sound/loop that I made, just ask. Thanks!
