Description : Glide.
These are vowel like sounds that come before and after true vowel sounds. Tongue position determines these sounds, as it does in vowels, thus, the glides are sometimes called semivowels.
Liquid.
Liquids are similar to both consonants and vowels in how they are made. As in vowels, the airflow moves through the oral cavity with little obstruction. As in some consonants, the tongue is raised towards the alveolar ridge to make the sound.
Fricative.
This sound is produced with air escaping through a small passage, thus producing friction or a "hissing" sound.
there are affricates in there as well, but it didnt really fit in the title. just some more live maschine-do.
this lesson in phonetics brought to you by the letters s and m, and the number 0.3.

Description : navigating through the kelp forest nebula can be tricky at times, even worse when there is a battalion of really pissed of haptophyn elite star fighters chasing you. the nebula contains about 8 forming massive black holes. normally, the gravitational stresses would cause shearing on a ships shields, eventually destroying them, and then shredding the hull and everything and everyone inside it. however, if you can manually adjust the shield harmonics to match that of the small subspace fields created by the swirling plasma, you get swept along with the flow. counter angular momentum with thrusters and you glide right through in no time. but the temporal causality loops that occur can make manual adjustments difficult if you dont come prepared with the proper chronoalgorhythmic containment fields and a separate antimatter inductor to channel power to it. lets just say the haptophyn dont know about this nebula.

Description : federal intergalactic speed regulations mandate that all civilian and non active military and intelligence vessels be limited to a maximum speed of 4 times the speed of light. its slow, but fast enough to get you from mitos space station in orbit around condrion all the way to ermes in about the same time as it takes this song to play.

Description : the glass piece boogie. if you got that big bag of good grizzle, do it up and get down.
stretching on maschine was long overdue. makes things so much nicer.
edit: foggy room groove is now the metacognition.
same still applies. i think i fixed what was off. it was the main sample track that i turned into a bass out of place by a couple of bars.
so is it possible to know that you know that you know? hypermetacognition?

Description : thanks to braindedmusic for uploadin the pella 'just yesterday'
https://www.looperman.com/acapellas/detail/3460
simplicity. a few kicks, a couple snares, a long delayed crash, deep bass and vocals. didnt want to detract from the message in brainded's lyrics. powerful, and completely relatable. hope you enjoy it and let me know how the mix sounds.

Description : i always have green tea on hand. twinngs, bigalo, gold peak, tradewinds, wawa or rosenburgers. next to whiskey, it is my ichiban choice for gettin rid of thirst. what does green tea and this song have in common? went through an entire half gallon while i did this. drum loop from one of the packets in the underground sound lab, went to work on em with the ginsu. everything else is from either primeloops phantomspheres or dubstep illusions. simple mixing, played around with a lot of mid-side eq-ing, dynamics, stereo imaging and reverbs.
take a listen, hope you enjoy it.
callin it fusion for lack of a proper genre. drunkard style maybe?

Description : thanks to shatner for
uploading the pella "fallen samurai"
https://www.looperman.com/acapellas/detail/1019
thanks to psyhi for the fat albert samples.
back on the maschine, i was workin on dips over the weekend and heard a song by shatner the other day called wax on wax off. loved the flow, so i checked to see if he had it as a pella. sho nuff, then i put it over dips to see if it would work. needed a couple chops here and there but it fit. worked on the mixin the last couple of days. dont work with vocals too much so i dont know to much about mixin them properly. lookin for feedback/suggestions on the mix.
UPDATED: looked at some vocal mixing tips and re mixed the whole song, hopefully it sounds better.

Description : payback always feels good. especially when you set up a plan and it all works flawlessly. relish in the humiliation your victim radiates, crave the tears they weep, grinch grin when they look at you. oh they know it was you, but you have crushed their will. they will remember the event forever. go to sleep that night with a feeling of accomplishment.
laid back sounds over a solid groove, some jazz soul hop. all loops from e-lab. simple mixing. stereo imaging, copious amounts of eq, a little phaser, some airy reverb. had to make the drums a little crunchy to cover the vinyl clicks and cracks in the main loop. x click did a good job at smoothing them out, but it didnt get rid of them completely.
enjoy.

Description : with subdued tears, she smiled, batted her eylashes and sore nanonoko told me everything was fine. completely distracted, i believed her. it wasnt until her body was found and the note was read that the truth i had known all along but doubted because of her sincerity was made apparent. i once believed that i could help her, that i could make her happy and protect her from the demons she hid. how foolish. she is gone, and i am left thinking if only i had reacted differently. now, forever a tribute to my failure.
all premade loops, from magix soundpool jazz vol. 12 and loopmasters jazz world. mixed with ozone 5, using tumbleweed's technique to add richness. read more in this post.

Description : done on the maschine, the bass is strong with this one, a sub is recommended. the kick is bruce lee strength, and contrasts with the smooth deep wideness of the bass. the snare explodes randomly, maybe it implodes. 2 instances of albino and 1 of massive. main strings are from the intro of 'somewhere over the rainbow' by poppa john creech, if youve never heard of him, check him out, real mean on the fiddle. other strings from orchestral classic strings. feedback on the mix is appreciated.

Description : if you had a genesis back in 92 you should recognize this(round 1-2, streets of rage 2). loop sliced with perfect cadence, left it pretty much alone and added the drums. used alloy on everything, different settings of course. i really liked how the snare turned out, sounds like its imploding. kinda a work in progress, i just couldnt think of what else to put with it. ive tried everything from pads and synths to brass and sfx, nothin seems to fit with it. open to suggestions.

Description : woke up on sunday, made a bacon and cheese omelet with some waffles and just started diggin. couple hours later, had the bass and melodies chopped up nice.added the drums (took forever to find the right kick at first, thn i had to find the right snare. all that it needed was some fx, but after listin to it enough, took em all off and used alloy on everything. exported as a wav so i could run it through ableton for some tempo changes and to hit it with ozone. mixed it over speakers, but sounds really good on headphones with large frequency range, especially toward the low\low-mid range.
