love it... and I'm not a huge fan of trance but i listen to all genres still, the flow is amazing... sounds great too... and follow father wax advice stick to what you do best and keep your head high, always best to lead than follow a crowd...

on hot coffee by promenade2239
Hey its a nice groove but I think you should take that synth out of the beginning that goes on throughout the mix, it's way too harsh for my ears
promenade2239
promenade2239 replied 21st May 2015 - 10 years ago
thanks for listening and leaving some interesting comment. man this is some real synth madness in here, it's entirely recorded in a real time. how you can say I should take off that synth, it makes entire piece. maybe you simply do not like my playing. that's ok. it's actually more playing with cutoff and resonance filters than the actual playing. also mix is not loud at all. I understand this on is not really even close to so called mainstream.
but thanks again!

nice day to you, alex

yo I like this, but i think it would be better if you put the I'm good part at the end into a hook in the chorus some way I think it would be super dope... peace out dawg

on Something New Instrumental by Venuslove
Yo what's up venuslove, this isn't bad, I do feel although that maybe if you humanized the drums slightly it wouldn't sound so robotic, maybe it's because you didn't finish the song out yet, but you could still give it a shot, I only say this because I feel like acoustic drums should always be humanized at least slightly, peace out...

its nice and easy to listen too, i would make it a little bit more complex in sections just for the sake if vocals were added...

on Xyilent - Fury by XyIlent
I think its pretty good but I think if some of the synth leads were a bit less harsh it would be better, some piano and some phasers maybe a flanger? I love the fury part its pretty cool... some delay with claps or something in there with delay would make it better if it filled up some of the holes, but I understand it's not done of course just some feedback to make it be as good as possible... good job
XyIlent
XyIlent replied 25th Apr 2015 - 10 years ago
hey man, thanks for the feedback :)

yeah im working on trying to make the leads a little better and fill the track up a bit more , yeah the fury voccal is my favourite part of the whole track :D

on Midnight by 15ludwicke
I love it... its so chill and relaxing and moving, don't worry I'm listening at 7:30 so its all good, I think possibly maybe if you automated the strings when they came up it would be perfect, because the first time the strings come up they came up abruptly, but the second time was fine, I don't know, experiment with it I guess, cause it's not too hard, good track, nice work!

on The Truth - Featuring Patricia Edwards by Musicante
great gospel track i like some of the bridges the best but the sax is a little panned to the left side a bit I don't know it just makes it sound off probably done with intent though, when you mixed it...
Musicante
Musicante replied 23rd Apr 2015 - 10 years ago
Thanks allot for your time. Yes, I like to pan everything except bass and lead vocals. I pan the individual drums left, middle, and right, so you get a nice left to right movement as the fills are played.

Cheers,
M.

on Atlantic drifts by Danke
I think its good but the only problem is some of the really high pitched flute type synths or whatever they are they make it kind of hard to listen to it, if you turned them down maybe an octave it would be more bearable otherwise good track...

as a producer never limit yourself, always move forward and up, even if it means multi genres but i understand that fear of hopelessness, but the fact is its just not true thats why its a fear... love the track it creates multiple great melodies to it...
