Man, love the guitar tone in the second half. That's what I hear on my stuff. If you would like any of my kind of bass style, let me know and I'd be glad to do something.
The first few seconds' mix almost made me skip it, but I heard vocals and stayed and heard that you have a pretty good idea here! The first half bassline doesn't sound bad really, but you need a more present one in the second half, less repetitive and more freestyle. Liked it!
I have never been disappointed with a track of yours! This is great as well. The vocals clip a bit early on but they are easily overlooked. Thank you for the good vibes.
So nice you felt those vibes, Evan :D
That's what mattered most to me while making this .
Thx for your criticism about the clips placing . I confess I didn't have ears any more by the end :S
I agree with "best so far". I enjoyed this very much. Better transitions and interplay than before. I would have downloaded it for my work playlist. I'm impressed, keep it up!
Well here is some tasty stuff! Always love hearing the heavier pieces on here. Great flowing lead lines and ear candy throughout. Just enough modulation to do the job but not so much as to distract. I wore a grin for the whole listen. Thank you.
Hey man, thanks for those super kind words. Always nice to get some positive feedback on a track. I feel like this one and When the Queens are probably my 2 best tracks. Would love to get some lyrics/vocals on them. I appreciate you taking the time to listen and for leaving some feedback.
Oh hell yes!!!! This is what Looperman has been lacking. I've been looking for the heavy stuff on here, then I saw that you are a friend of Behnam and Tonality. You are now a friend of mine. I love what you do. The changes are refreshing, though not very consistent in volume, energy and clarity. The ending it just great. Thank you for this.
I love the delay here, but the fast run you do in the middle of this would benefit "automationing" the delay out for that second or two. I never know what to expect when I hit play on one of yours!
yes, true matter U've pointed Evan .althoughT that's not dalay , I've added a considered echo that maybe sounds like delay because U can't imagine how horrible sounds piano in final 2004 (as U can read in description it's written by final 2004..and in those years ago)! ...and withouT that echo & 2 sort of reverb that pianO sounded like a toY ! but if U've used this word='delaY' for I forgot to send U that mail, I just can say : ''oh oh ! oops! I forgot , sorry ,this wacky mind & busy head of mine makes me forgot to see myself in mirror too !oops & aakh(We say Aakh or vaay in persian instead of your oops),I'll send that now after leaving looperman ''.
and about what U can expect to hear when U play on one of my trials , I tink U can excepT to hear me thinking loudly & talking to myself & my beloved one..but by instruments .
thank U very much Evan for usefull comment & worthy attention & true worthy critical point abouT delay(echo).best wishes for U Evisma both .___Behnam
hey it's very good to hear from you Evisma . I know you because of your collabiration with Behnam and tonality and i like your music and your idea about this music of mine too . it's great if you look at this way to this track and appreciated by me .thank you very much.
As Billydragon1 has said, very energetic. I was hoping to hear some bass guitar on this as that is the only thing your profile says you play. I'm a fellow bass player and I like to hear other peoples playing. Bass is almost all I use.
This is a solid song and it could definitely go places. Thank you for the mood, and welcome!
there are alot of bass guitar in what you heared ! i wonder to read a bassist hasn't heared bass .i listened you track and you play bass verywell , and you know some of basses in my track were synth bass and you can easily find it out .thank you very for taking time to dropping these words and for wellcome .i appreciate .
Hello Behnam, I've been off looperman for about 3 weeks, spent evenings recording and I finally uploaded something new. Hope you got my e-mail response last week.
I really like this track of yours. Jazzy at parts and very smooth and dreamy in others. The horns sound very live and I am curious as to what you used. The slow-down part is very cool as well and I would like to know how you did it. Impressive indeed!
Take care my friend
How R U Evan ?wish all is well around U both .
yes I have recceived your mail , buT seems U haven't recceived my last mail .no problem , I'll send it again.
about this trial I'm glad to see your positive idea .
personalY I saw this as a subordinate nlevel trial of mine (as U can see I had told to other friends before U too )buT if U remember this is the same insight that I had about that other trial ''1 muntes classical guitar flamenco taste ''if U remember (I told U I made that as a training , not a serious track ) ...and I have some times when I ask myself:
can a composer recognize better which one of his traX is working good , or a listener can recognize which one are better ...We'll talk in mail & would be interesting to know your idea too .thanx alot for attention , and perception & time for commenting on this trial of mine , and Evan , as U can see in Chris(Brillbilly) comment , he has wanted me to send him a line of materials which he has liked ...I mean to say U too can tell me if is there any special sound in this which U're minded to have it fr any usage , to send iT for U buddy.best wishes of mine .____Behnam
Ha! I found you! The vocals I have been listening to on Redi Mindtrick are great, Thank You!. This is a beautiful song you have here. I will be adding it to my morning playlist along side Behnam's works. Thank you.
hello evan.thank you very much for your kind words.evan i am a wellknown singer and composer and have album and this is a track from my album . working with Behnam was an unbelievable exprience for me .he is a strange tallent and mscary guitarist and best musician and also best vocalist i have ever known . he did everything and composed that melody vocal and i just used this chance of that day . rightnow it's my causin writing this for you ,and that was my first time for sing a rock song .have you added Behnam's works to your playlist ? it's a joint point between me and you .Behnam is a very good man , just very serious and never smiles when working .
Loving it!!! I agree with StaticNomad almost entirely, and was almost thinking of it just being in the parts where I go down to the low C#. I tune to drop D and then everything down a half step. Drop C#. But you were not off any notes at all and I don't want you to redo what you have. Would like the track on it's own to fiddle with also. Your tone is sweet as HELL! Thanks again for taking your time and laying some awesomeness on it!
Gladja like it dude. OK so now ya got a good start so now ya gotta find the right people to do fill in the other parts so we can blow this tune up to the big time. We need top of the line drums - a superb producer/mixer, and of course lyrics and vocalist. Don't think I can help w lyrics on this one. Just nothin' comes to me. Someone else is apparently meant for that. If ya don't got any better ideas, ask Crucethus to see what me can do. He does great drumlines and production.
OK, as I said below - I'm done here. Will follow with the other tune. And then - whatever's next! :-) At some point I suppose I oughta work on my own stuff, huh? Haha! :-D
Love the tone you put onto this one. At about 0:47 is when it gets too busy, but it's pretty sweet to hear some blazing fretwork ripping up the air. You did this justice!
The two lines with different tones give you a mean, meaty sound. The only thing, (as mentioned below) is the structure. I have listened to many of your tracks lately to find something to put some bass on and I've been looking for something more "songish" to get nasty with. It's the same thing that happens to me. Written alone without other bandmates. Bass should not be lead throughout. Hate to say this because I hate mainstream rock, but verse, chorus, verse, chorus is ok when it's 1 out of 50.
This is not a complaint, good sir, just the pissing and moaning of a guy looking to put some bass guitar in some heavy metalwork.
I really like the drums in this, and the guitar lines have a very nice tone. Bass is simple but well done, doesn't sound like it came from a bass guitar. Like the electronic effect as well. Could hear a saxophone solo about two thirds of the way through.
I would love to get this and put some bass guitar to it if you would be cool with that. Just need tuning and bpm. Like this one a lot. Reminds me of Adrenaline Mob.
This one surprised me. The song and the writing is rather good. Very positive, I like that. Vocal idea is very high in the mix, could be lowered some, hits hard when it comes in. I'm only saying this because I like constructive criticism. This one could be very nice if it's given enough time. It's going in the right direction.
You are one of the ones I watch for. I'm always liking the aggressive guitar riffs, and it's one of those things you don't see much of here. That's why I look for you, you always have some good aggressive and abrasive stuff. This one is no different. Like the progression a lot. Drum volume seems a little low, but so what, I wanted the crunchiness and got it. Another good one! Thank you for doing what you're doing.
Thank you, I appreciate that you enjoy my music! A year ago my stuff wasn't so "acceptable" but thanx to looperman.com and all the users that share, I have been able to find good drum loops to unleash to :)Thanx again man, peace
I'd be happy to share E. Prob is I can only upload one track every 24 hours - guess it's a probationary period. Understandable. It's an old song that needs to be redone right. I'll take all the help I can get. You sound good with the bass. :-) That would help. In the meantime if u like, you can have a listen to my well written but not so fabulously produced catalog a my old music webpage "colek dot net".
If you'd like me to guitarify yer tune, send me a link or a track in a PM. Or just upload. Prolly won't be this week though. Work is kickin my arse.
I agree with cyberson. The whole track has a "majestic" feel to it, then the bass comes in with a "good mood walking down the street" feel. Both are done well and sound good, just not together. I am being pretty picky, as that is what I want done to me. But I did enjoy this. Thank you. You came up on Random, by the way. Kinda cool.
I like all of this. I'm a bass player so it's nice to see it in the foreground at times.
The only thing I could say, is Crossfades would help with a lot of the abrupt changes. You can hear the cuts and hear where things are butted up to each other, and a crossfade at the transitions is so fast that you wont notice it, but turns the hit into a swell. More like a naturally struck string.
All that aside, songs like this are why I have fallen in love with looperman. Originality is priceless, please retain yours for the betterment of mankind.
