on I cant wait DUBSTEP by azzyko16
Nice growls and sounds used in the drop, still feeling like there is something missing. I suggest getting the drums some extra space since these are important to the genre so bring them more to the foreground. Further nice song and enjoyed listening to it ;) Thanks for sharing

Greetings john

Thank you for feedback. Maybe first drop sounds empty because in drum loop I used only Kick and Snare, without rides and closed hats... :/ Thank you for advice, I'll have that on my mind in next songs. :)

on The Evolver by Pepskii
This track went for me from meh to mm to awesome. Got that sort of trancy feeling after the intro part. Really liked it ;)And it's interesting to see a progression like this in a song, great job and thanks for sharing ;)

Thanks for your thoughts and feedback Johnny! :D, yeah its a bit of an experimental sort of structure was interested to see how it would work out over the typical build break...with inharmonic to harmonic instead :D

Catchy intro, sort of industrial like stuff. Then it goes all crazy in a way I like it ;D Great job but I seem to much the subbass sort of sound. Thanks for sharing ;)

on Gangsta by TurfGoldMusic
Impressive, sweet vocals with a banging beat. The piano in the intro instantly caught my attention. Don't like the second vocals at 2.16 (the spoken word thingy but I like the rap stuff that goes on then) And it looks like the beat is getting a bit to soft so maybe turn the beat slightly up there. Further well done since it sounds pretty professional ;)

Thanks allot, JP. Glad you checked it out even if it's from an old fogy like myself! I know I sound old, but the 70's had some great music that still holds up today.

Cheers,

on Modnex - Sunny Life by Modnex
I read "modnex" and instantly had to listen to it haha, It sounds nice and has great melodies. Like it ;)3 hours might look short but we all have those days that the music just flows and you can get it down just right and other days we can't make anything so won't judge you for that ;)
Modnex
Modnex replied 2nd Jan 2014 - 11 years ago
Thanks bro, that just put a smile on my face :). I agree with you there are days where i can't get anything done then comes days like this where i can't stop, its weird but it works out!

You are very good with making the verses mate, like lazyeye mentioned I miss the bassy sound, maybe you could turn the kick up a bit for that. Thanks for sharing this with us.

on Pretty Prison - feat GadManDubs by Megapaul
Awesome, reminds me of some song but can't come up with the name of it. Love how you used the guitars to create a groove like this and then the bass goes on under that. This makes up for a very nice composition.

on Kunkokt - Abductee Remix by Crypt
Well done, this makes up for an awesome track combining the screamo with the techy sounds, great job on it haha could see this featured in devil may cry (game)
Crypt
Crypt replied 30th Dec 2013 - 11 years ago
It's not screamo. It's METALLLLL!!!!!!!! lol just kidding. Thanks for listening Johnny. I've heard that before about how our songs have a video game vibe to them. Hopefully a big gaming developer will see that one day as well. :P Thanks again!

Nice melody going on, I think these vocals indeed fit great in the song. Your use of the synths is great and the panning used on some of the fx and percussion is very nice so great job on it ;)

on Came to bring - FarM feat enty3way V2 by honkytonk
Very nice dark sounds you got into that track that went great with the vocals. One tip for future tracks (you may have done it but I am not sure) try panning percussion a bit to the left or right for a more ambient feeling in the track. Thanks for sharing ;)
honkytonk
honkytonk replied 28th Dec 2013 - 11 years ago
Yeah you re right, percussion is a thing that im not so patient with. prefer screwin the knobs, hehe... so if someone has fun in polishin it - go for it :) Most tracks i dont work out longer than 10 hours our so, theres notime for doin fine beats, but its something that i can do live instantly in the same quality with hardware ;), my liveshots are done within half an hour so ;) Thats what i m lookin for - if someone says hey, lets do it better - why not :)

on Found love by benjizo
Sounds great, love this oldschool vibe too it, must have cost a lot of time to figure everything out on how to place it all and fit it together. Only thing I don't really like is the ending because it cuts off so it's just like you get dragged out instantly and smacked on the ground... But thanks for sharing, appreciate all your work ;)
benjizo
benjizo replied 29th Dec 2013 - 11 years ago
Johnny thank you for kind sentiments. You right the ending is a bit sloppy but will definitely smooth it when i drop it as a finished track.

on Quick Happy by Nap
Very nice drum patterns and stuff but I think you could add in a little more melody so it sticks with people longer since now it sounds like mostly drums. Also you could add in a hard subbass which would sound great with this I think. Greetings johnny ;)

on For Floor v2 original version by WaPer
Very nice track, can't remember if I heard something of you before but will pay better attention to new tracks of you that I see now I have heard this, really nice use of the synths. Like how you put that short piano part in there to give some rest and then continue. Well done ;)

Really like how you made the choirs sound like that together with the track itself, it sounds really good and I like it really much ;) Thanks for sharing it with us and letting us hear something new of you (at least for me it's new)

Yes, it's new.
Voxos Virtual Epic Choir is my newest adquisition.
I wanted to test it with a new track, so I did it.
Thanks to you for listening and comment.

on Eustachian by KooLKYLE
You did really nice on this track with the synths on reverb and making the bass flow through the song. I enjoyed it and I think you did very well. I can agree with StaticNomad on some points though but we aren't all pro musicians yet so I think you learned a lot by making this track which is always a good thing. Greetings from johnny ;)

on Back Home Ft Trauma by JayWill
Don't seem to be suffering from the overamped bass spivkurl was talking about, don't know if it's changed already or not. Anyway great job on the track very laid back track. but it sounds not finished yet since the end just cuts of suddenly, maybe echo the voice and then let it fade out to give it the finishing touch.
