Really Good stuff. (and you call me eclectic ;-)) I agree with you on the vocals there is a part where it gets too soft in the mix. But you have created a nice minimalistic sound-scape for these pellas to thrive in. I might think about backing down just a tiny bit on the mix with the piano, and maybe consider using very sparsely a pad (like vickydan uses) softly fading in and out around the 2:20 area, just like a whisper of a hint of ambience. Otherwise I think you have the workings of a great song here, I'm impressed!
Steve
Haha - yes one might call this eclectic. ;)
Yet, listening to it after one nights sleep I find the melody too monotonous, too much piano - should have been some other instruments playing the same melody somehow...or something completely different, to keep the interest.
I seem always to think a song is finished when it really isn't!
Well anyway - thank you, Steve, for your REALLY encouraging words and the advice with volume and pads! I'll look in to that.
Have a nice day!
I love how this builds and becomes so ethereal. Amazing the power of this song with sustained pads and guitar chords. And the perfectly placed percussion and quirky industrial stabs. Reminds me a bit of the group How to Destroy Angels
Great job.
I love how it takes till 3:33 to find that awesome deephouse groove. You created an epic intro. Nice job. The Mantra's are awesome with this! Great Work!
Ahh that first note, my heart just skipped a beat. I love DP and Rainbow. I love how John Lord left his Hammond for his replacement in retirement Don Airey. RIP John, good work this song is awesome
Nice workings of Minor 2 go's awesome loop, I have used this exact loop before myself in one of my tunes. I like the bass-line on this as well. Nice job.. See you even got an atheist to comment on your song ;-)
Awesome, this is brilliant. I love ambient music and you combine elements of ambience, atonality, dissonance, chillout and deep dark electronica that breathes as if it has it's own soul. good work!
yuuuppp me llluuuuvvvvvvv ambient music very much crucethus ! :) , but not such about atonality and the etc... , but deep dark electronica tooo. thank you very much for your stopping by and comment .
Nice, love the syncopation on this. Hip hop & Rap are really starting to take influences from other forms of music (Jamaican, reggae, dub, ringbang)(Jazz) (Step) (Minimalist electronica) and it's getting interesting. This piece is interesting!

Well, the Hammond sound is one of the most difficult instruments to render digitally because it has that ... very analogic peculiarity!
So this is only a "synthetic" view of the original monster!
Thanks again for listening and for your kind words!
