on Death Drums by toastedavalanche
Lay off the reverb and bring your voice up in the mix. We add massive reverb when we feel insecure about our voice and try to hide it behind the echoes and choral sounds verb brings because it hides the out of tuneness. but no..... make it shine my man. And no more reverb on vox is not the way to go!

Awesome. I love the usage of filters in this one. And I disagree with those who say its to much reverb. it creates the correct amount of separation. Well done.

How do you get such clean sounding electric Piano sounds on all your material? This is great R&B Flyte Tyme good! Already thinking how I would remix this one ;-)

I am happy you enjoyed this! The epiano sound comes from Nexus usually with different effects added. I'm actually thinking about having a remix competition. I'd love to have you take part of it. Thanks Cru!

So I am back listening and loving this version. I'm not analyzing but getting absorbed in the beauty of it. And that's when we reach the moment of art and genius. I love the ending on the drop BTW, that is outstanding. Thank you for the download and fav'd accordingly.
Great Job

You are like the King Diamond of electronic music my friend. Exploring the dark spaces which no else wants to go into and you deliver it to us with a sort of umami of sound.

Seriously grand and smooth. reminds me of old Neil Hubbard. He used to tour with bryan Ferry. did some work on the last 3 Roxy Music albums as well supplementing Phil Manzanera.

This is awesome. I love how the bass derives motion and the synth flutes give it atmosphere. Almost sounds like a western (spaghetti) feel.
Great sound.

on Midisparks - Stephanie Kay Hussar - Stars collide by joecramer
I am immediately taken by the intro. grande and majestic. the build with the vocals is amazing. the subtle chorus is sublime as well. then that drop. then the vocal section. which is good but it needs more dynamic separation here. Try in the mixdown lowering the gain and increasing your dynamic head room. because all your instrument placing is perfect and all your instincts are spot on. 2:58 is where your dynamics come together. you need that crisp bass sound in the earlier parts as well. the middle frequencies are too muddled together. now don't take this as a negative as this is easily fixed. And As I have said before to others I will only give this detailed of a synopsis and critique if I hear something of genius that is so close to perfection. Keep on it my friend I love what you are doing.

on Chinese Water by DijamMusic
So I listened. And I absorbed the build ,the tension. I wanted it to keep building to a release , but no like a Tantric monk you kept it all at an even keel throughout the work. SOB! This is very good and I love koto, I wanted it to build into something grand, but that is not your way sometimes. I see you like to explore the nuance of every nook and cranny of a riff. And you have extreme patience. always a pleasure to listen and enjoy your art. Cru

Hi Steve,
Many thanks for you take on this track mate.
As you may have seen the discerption this track is for an art collage video.
I had to follow the momentum of the scene of the collage.
However, in the coming days I am going to do a track about our friend Silverman selling Ice cream I do assure you that the build-up is going to be so grand that will melt all of Silverman Ice cream.
Thanks again.

for some reason I could only envision a white cold place in which this song emotes. Lots of snow and freezing temperatures, like a forewarning of winter. Very dramatic and very good.
