Thanks again John. Did this one before I got Logic and the production isn't quite where I want it. Might be revising it soon.

Another very nice piece. A great fusion of different elements. Where did you get all those mid eastern loops?

John
SixFingeredMan
SixFingeredMan replied Unknown
Most of the mid-estern loops came between Garageband Jam packs and Logic Pro as well as the instruments for them. So, some are loops and others the Audio unit or VST instruments used to make loops for the songs.

on East West by SixFingeredMan
Very sweet beginning, nice transitions. Great eastern feel, another one that would fit well with Xerxes Advance. I can see it during the night festivities: Everyone is indulging as Xerxes watches over them, using the indulgences to maintain his control over them. Another fav and a dowload.

Great piece, brother

on Mystical by Sunkizz
starts off very cinematic. This would be a great piece in a movie where the hero is doing something extremely dangerous. The whole tone of this piece is danger. Great mood setter.

I think this would be better classified as cinematic as it is, but with lyrics, that's another case.

Great track, brother

Thanks again. Thinking of doing a couple more slower songs like that. Perhaps more cinematic; all thanks to hearing some of your work.

on Cyber tears (A Robots Tale - Ch 1) by ALXSIX
The track would be great for a sci fi movie. The hum and the mechanical sounds bring about the image of a large vessel travelling through space.

An excellent track

Actually I was more into the whole "robotic" idea, like Michael's description, but your description goes along very well too.
Glad it brought those pictures to your mind, thanks for listening!

Thank you again for considering my loop worthy of being used. The track is very well conceived and very well produced. Ii would be interesting to know what kind of lyrics you would put to this track.

Keep up the good work and keep the tracks coming.

on The Chase by Thorstain
I like the introduction, nice way to bring in the drums. The drums themselves echo of war. Is this the theme song to the beginning of the end: The final battle between heaven and earth. There is a point where one could envision hesitation, perhaps on the part of both sides. They were, angels and demons, at one time brothers and sisters. Could this be what changes the course of the war?

Nice track. It does what you meant it to do.

What you have so far is very nice, I like it a lot. I love your vocals, you appear to have an incredibly sweet voice. When I write, I don't usually have a female voice in mind, but I might think about writing something for you, if, of course, you'd be interested. I would be glad to help with any tracks you have as well.

Nice beginning, please, lets see more

Nice track. Seamless production. Second track I've listened to that would fit well with my track Xerxes Advance. By the way, thank you for the review.

This is a sweeeet piece. If we can find a few more tracks that would fit, we might have a nice little cd (if for nothing else, our own enjoyment).

Okay, let's see what images your track conjures. The first thing I feel is hopefulness, this feeling is enhanced by the the drums and then the strings. I can see a couple coming together, perhaps after some major dispute. A true love conquers all kind of thing, where flashbacks of the better times play a big role. This is a sweet track, very well arranged.

As I also write, and especially when I listen to cinematic music, I like to let the music create images. Often, those images the music creates is similar to those of the author of the music, sometimes not LOL. Apparently, this time not ;-) It's an exercise, my friend, where one just lets the imagination go.

What am I on, lol, my third beer.

Peace man, I loved your track

on ...... by NikoLayZe
This would be a nice adjunct to my track Xerxes Advance, a very nice adjunct actually. I can see happenings in Xerxes camp as they prepare to go against Spartans for the first time. They are happy, sure of quick victory and festive. There are some not so sure. A group of generals who have heard the legends of the spartans feel fear, but they dare not allow it to be seen by Xerxes, for such would mean certain death. Fear grips their heart as they make a toast to their god king, but not fear of Xerxes, fear of the great men of Greece they will have to soon face. The greatest warriors who ever lived: The Spartans.

on In a Lugubrious Landscape by PedroCasillas
I see a beautiful woman approaching from the distance. As she draws closer anticipation and excitement increases. When she arrives upon the scene, however, hell breaks loose. With a machine gun in each hand, she begins to kill everyone. As the last mans eyes go to darkness for the final time, his thought is "how beautiful, she is".

Nice track

on visionless by senciman
A see a man alone in the world where big brother has gone amuck. Spheres fly past him recording everything in their path as they go. A door opens, a beautiful young woman emerges. In her arms she holds a rifle, carefully she takes aim, from behind an old garbage bin, and takes aim at the sphere, It goes down. The man is in shock. For the first time in his life he knows he can say no. The woman runs past him, he runs after her. She hears him, turns and aims her rifle at him. "I mean you no harm", he utters, "I want to help". "Come", she replies. She leads him through alley and cracks in the city he had never even thought could exist. "We're here", she tells him, turning around to face him, "this is the base from which we fight". The man drops his skin, revealing his true form: A machine, a thinking machine. The machine laughs, thinking he has one, but then as one click after another is heard, he feels the sting of a hundred guns.

on Harmony with the Next Age by DaveyJonesMusic
I can the office people racing around, some at computers, some in a large boardroom. There is one person who know he does not fit. He's on the computer, he has the ability to shut it all down, to stop the madness he sees going on around him. He contemplates the idea, sees within his mind the greater madness it would cause as all the hamsters got off their wheels and had to deal with life. Across the way he sees a secretary, she is smiling at him, she knows his mind for hers is the same as his. he smiles back. He postures as to suggest, should I do it. She responds only with a smile. A few keystrokes are made on the computer, just one more will through the whole bloody company into chaos. Just one more button...........

Nice track, inspires a lot of cool visuals

It seems that my plan for a thought provoking track worked! It was partially my idea to make the listener to think about deeper thoughts while listening to this and it obviously had an effect on you. Thanks for writing such an interesting review. Greetz, --Davey--

I could see this used in a buddy feature where they just about had enough with each other. They are looking at each other, slo mo, then, as they walk away from each other, come the flashbacks of the good times and the bad. They turn, at the same time, look at each other, fellini moment, and hesitate.

Their mutual foe enters and immediately they are back where they were. Two buddies, having fionally defeated their foe, walking into the sunset (arguing, of course, I mean, let's not get silly).
