This is a beautiful piece of music. Had me hooked in less than 20 seconds. Loved your choice of instruments, your production and your transitions were smooooooth. Great easy listening piece. 10\10
It always makes me all warm and tingly whenever someone talks like that, same feeling I get whenever I do these songs live although I can't do this one live because I cry when I sing it....Thank u for the kind words dude, an since u like it so much, I will tell you how the track came to be, although it will be hard for me.
When I was a sixteen-year-old idiot me and my friend Roger (guitarist of the band Mastoid) did something really REALLY BAD! Well, 2 things actually. I found out later that one of the first outward manifestations of child abuse is cruelty towards other children and animals. I shall not tell you EXACTLY what seagulls, squirrels and peanut butter have to do with that, let's just say that it was extremely nasty. Because of the ridiculously shitty things we did, to this day both me and Roger would not even lift a finger to squash a cockroach. Strange how differently you now think about ridiculously heinous things you did when u were a brat, isnt it?
HI John. I used simple tools, I think it was really cool. I like the progressive rock of the '70s. I hope to do more songs in this style, and cinematic ... Thanks for the comment. Peace, and good music ..
This is good old fashioned rock n roll. Slammed, eh? That's right, I said "eh", I am Canadian, after all. Brother, for something you threw together while under the influence, you did a great job. Sound great as it is, but I look forward to the polished track.
Cinematic and metal, then it must be cinemetal. Wherever you want to put it, it is a great tracks filled with interesting sounds, smooth transitions and a very sweet beat. Love the bass, nice choice as the centerpiece for the track.
thanks for the props..i wanted to try and put something together that sounded something like what a computer and a syith wound talk about with a guitar butting in..lol but at the time i made this i didnt yet have the skills to bring my idea into realiy.. now that ive revisited this i mite remix it again or start a new song.. thanks for your listen and review
Awesome intro, love the transition into the main body. Guitars sound great, drums rocks. Nice use of drum fills. This is a rocking little piece. I wanted more, but maybe that's a good reason to leave it as it is.
Sounds like a good choice of genre from my tree. As for the tracks, this baby moves. Great instrumentation, transitions are awesome, love the way you use the cymbals, production is high quality. Only thing this baby needs is to be played for great masses of people.
Hiya John, I really like YOUR stuff as well! The production is what it is. Most of these Mulchefye tunes are from a period of my life when I was attempting to drink myself to death; everything from the "Mulchefye" self-titled album straight through till "No" Volume 2 is from that despiceable period in my life so no apologies for production or sound quality will be made. I was very VERY drunk. Sorry bout that NO I'M NOT
Great use of the acapella. The instrumentation fits the music very well. It is a very good track, so good in fact, that I can't believe after so many listens I am the first to review it :-0
This track had be movin in my seat within seconds. The production is tight, the choices of instruments/sounds is great. I'm liking how you introduce the pad\synth. Nice transitions. This is a sweet relaxing, though anything but boring, ride. I just wish it hadn't ended so soon :-(
Damn dude, yet another great piece. I could have listened to this for a lot longer. It had me swaying like Stevie Wonder during a hurricane of RnB. Seriously, a great piece.
I look forward to more from you. You are a great talent.
The bassline is sweet, is it a planet loop? Liking the funky guitar. Some neat percussion sounds. A couple transitions seem a bit abrupt to me, but that may be your intention. Lead guitar is sweet. Lol, ended a bit too soon for me, I was having a great time movin to this baby.
HI John,Thanks for the kind words on the track, yeah,I had a lyrical idea on this and it would have made the tune a bit more main stream. but it just would up that way at the monent.Good chance I will revise it in the near future. You never know how these ideas are going to wind up intill you do them. I allways look to for smoothness, but its just happened that way. Thanks so much for the review, I,ll keep an ear out for you!
I agree, of course. This track I did for a job, a 60-second teaser, but my boss did not like. It's an old song ... I will make a full version when I get time ...The intention was to put the full version and not there, I did for the teaser. as I said, I'm finishing another song and I hope you enjoy ... Thanks for the comment ... , VlaRB
I think cinematic is a great choice of genre. As for the track itself. Masterfully done. I absolutely love everything about it. Wahat can I say, but wow.
