This is a super backing track. Love your arrangement and the production is very good as well. All you need is somebody to drop some vocals on this baby.

Super job my friend

Great track. Vocals could be a tad more forward and clear as the others have stated, but take heart man, this is a very good piece.

on Dont touch this by Gbenga
Sweet backing track. I like it very much, but I wonder if that vox loop should really be used throughout the whole piece. Hmmm....

I have enjoyed everything of yours I've listened to so far, I look forward to hearing what else you have.

This is great. The bass might be a bit too up front, but that seems to be more a matter of preference these days.

Super job, man, I'll have to check out your other tracks soon.

on For All Eternity (As I Burn) by nosnhojnilremus
First off, I like the lyrics. Second, the guitar riff is sweet. You're right about the bass, but the rhythm guitar fills out that range a fair bit.

I look forward to hearing the rest of the tracks from the albumn.

I liked

Thanks for the kind words. It's hard to believe the guitar riff is me playing rudimentary cords on my 5-string bass and adding a vst to it f or the effect. thanks for the review and the listen.

I agree with Crash, I don't hear anything wrong with the track either. I would, however, like to hear it with the right vocallsist blasting out some cool heavy metal lyrics.

Hey man thanks for listening and taking the time to post a review ^_^ Much appreciated :).
Cheers, the guitar is a Fender Strat (the £100) copy kind xD
Amp wise it's a Roland Cube 60. To record I literally used a pair of cheapish sony headphones, rested them on the microphone on top of my mac and hit record. Gave it a bit of mixing and bam! :D.
Vocals were recorded in studio though :p xD.
The lyrics were written based on day to day life, going home after a typical boring day at work. 9-5 job. Same thing over and over then depression setting in. Sick and tired, razorblades bring relief.
Pain and grief put at ease for just a day longer. :)
xXx
Thanks again! ^_^

on March Until We Die by coolvibe
I get where PJB is coming from. This definitely has a commercial quality to it, though I would say the reason is because it would be enjoyed by non metal listeners as well. The only thing missing from this baby are a sweet set of lyics and vocals.

Very well done

As I replied to PJB, I would love for someone to take my tracks and putting lyrics to them, as my singing wouldn't do justice to my songs :)

Glad you enjoyed and thanks!

on Vividly Living by Thethanx
A really sweet chil out track. I like the arrangement and the production. Has me swaying back and forth in my chair, lol, for me that is major dancing :-)

Is it just me or is there a sadness about the track. I also feel optimism, but I feel sadness, maybe loss.

Interesting track. Thought provoking. Didn't like the abrupt ending lol

btw, feel free to send me a copy of the song you did using my lyrics, I look very much forward to hearing what you've done :-)

Nice work mon ami

Thanks for the review I'm glad it got you moving... Interesting you should mention sadness and loss, it certainly wasn't intentional, but without burdening you with my life story I'd say it's very possible that's creeping into my music as of late. The optimism is probably just because I'm a very optimistic person lol.

The abrupt ending is being fixed. I don't like it either ;)
I'll record "banging my head against a rock wall" really soon. I need to keep practicing and singing it... Sometimes I still stop halfway through and forget the chord changes or the next line.
I'll make sure you get a copy though!

Guys this is a great track, but there are some places where a little mastering would make it totally pro. Great backing track, great lyrics and the vocals are awesome, though occasionally too up front. I hear major talent here.

Interesting choice of sounds. Production is great, duh like that's not to be expected on a Spivkurl track, and the arranemnt is great (double duh, lol).

Although it is not a track I would listen to often, I do love it. It is increibly creative and gives me flashback of the old Get Smart TV show for some reason 8- 99 was hot :-)

I agree with Allen and Kik, loving the mid east\oriental vibe. I also agree with 9Rihter, doesn't seem rock, but then I see in your description that the guitars are to follow. Truth is, I like the track as it stands, but also look forward to where you plan on taking it.

on Night in Rio - extend - by VlaRB
Joy is when a friend has a track you have not yet listened to and can have the pleasure to review. Such is as is with this track. The latin influence is obvious. I've been becoming more of a fan of that genre in the last while, mostly because of hearing it in movies and tv shows.

Wow, what flavour this piece has. Changes up and changes up again but never loses its soul nor its energy

A definite fav and download
