I love this. Definiotely a fav amongst my favs. When I die, will you guys be playing for me in heaven (not that I want to speed up your demise or anything like that :-))
I don't know if you've seen it or not, but robots in space is no longer fantasy. NASA has a robot that will be going into space and will be dedicated to doing the more dangerous jobs. Lol, the thing even has a twitter address. No joking.
As for the track. a very nice listen, but I'd bring the vox a bit more forward.
SOunds good to me. I don't fins the synth overpowering at all. Hell, I'd probably even bring it a bit more forward. Do you do all your mastering with headphones on? If so, try with headphones off.
I have almost as many gay friends as I do straight, but there is no one I prefer partying with than my lesbian friends. If you want to attract a woman, go to a bar with five or six women. lol.
This track evokes so much imagery, I would be tempted to call it cinematic. This is only enhanced by the variation in mood you bring about withe changes in instrumentation you make. Vox doesn't hurt either :-)
Cinematic might be a fair categorization, because this was made for both a general audience (the class) and was a large homage to the film, Tron. Funny thing that, because I have the most fun doing tracks like these (maybe its in my blood). Glad ya dug it. Later on!
I like the track. Could easily fit into cinematic or ambient. I didn't find it dark myself, I found it more relaxing. Might just be where I'm at. The whole interaction of the music and the listener combining to achieve something different for each new ear.
Thanks a Mil John your comments make it worth the effort of putting it up on looperman which is turning out to be a great supportive community. I will check out your work as well and makes some rational remarks. We are all trying to make music that we would enjoy listening to and I look forward to hearing some of yours.
