on LET GO featuring NATE MONOXIDE by edzwood
im affraid im not a fan of the vocal full stop.. infact, i dont particularly like Nate Monoxide's voice or lyrics and i think the song deserves a little more and is dragged down by the vocal.
also, if you wanna stick with the vocal... which i dont suggest, you can use your mashine it can chop up the vocal for you and quantize it. so all you need to do is use it with your daw and trigger the bits you want to use.
i think a lesson alot of people can learn is that as a producer, i find it really hard to write a song and use a whole 'pella tht some one has written... if i write a song i want the vocalist to use the nuances of the song to write lyrics... not the other way round...
its a bit of a chicken and the egg situation.

all round a good tune... needs a bit of fillin gout though...
on Dec - Broken by Decnet
think the build up to it is awesome.
only downside.... it could go harder, but then i think everything could go harder.
is this a sample based tune or did you do it all yourself / did you write the guitars ? if so did you filter it afterwards? or did you do it pre-recording ?
The guitarrsound is actually completly reason, BUT i put a lot of hours into it, making it sound like the real deal, witch means yes, i "wrote" the guitarrs. lol.. When it comes to filtering, well.. lets just say that the actual guitarr is 6 different guitarrs, reacting differently depending on how "hard" i play it, witch makes it feel more alive. Cant remember the layout just now but, the first microsecond determines how "hard" i pull the string, and acts accordingly with reverbs or delays thereafter, the second microsecond determines the "tone" and depending on previous variables it can "bug out, and cut the tone completly" if the tone and first keystroke was played to hard, making it sound more like a real guitarr, and the third effect on each tone is determined the release of the stroke, meaning if i hardrelease the key it will sound like a wobble or a strum, and if i release it slowly it will go into an echo and/or arena reverb..
Lojg answer but i do hope it made sense, (but) due to the time creating the guitarr, i will not release it as an .rsn but feel free to remix it as it is...

on In The Glow - SOLETIK feat JJWeekz by Soletik
it all sounds awesome.
if i can think any criticism its the vocal... sounds a bit uhhmm... scratchy. dunno if that came with the 'pella but could sound a bit fuller.
thanks for your honesty, thats the reason its up here :)

I'm not clear on what you are suggesting but I will try.
are you saying re eq the bass and lower it by 2db? . I'm very isolated and do everything by ear so I'm kind of lost with your suggestion. Can you find a differant way to explain Kind of like "Dubstep for dummies" Hey go to the thread we are ready to start and I look forward to connecting with you
