on Oriental Opression by XmafaX
The drums had alot of change up which keeps it interesting. My only suggestion would be to get more crunchy overdrive on that guitar dude! Well done though!!!!

on Critical Element by SinisterMindset
In my opinion there is no greater than a hip hip track with real instruments and at least if not real, sounding real. Kick ass track man. If u feel something might be missing, my suggestion would be to possibly add a break or pause somewhere/s u think appropriate, and maybe a light synth track mixed in the back ground. Probly would sound good to do it on the chorus, but i assume thats not the piece of body you feel was lacking. So maybe if u take the same synth idea and change it slightly with each piece of the song u use it in. My musical terminology is rough so bare with me on the suggestions, lol but great work!!

Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated. Think I'll try throwing some synths in there or another instrument. 00:24 is where is seems too empty. This is why I make my tracks so short, they sound too repetative. Sure they would sound good with vocals, but with all the downloads I never hear anything done with them. Thanks again, I'll use your advice when I redo this one.

on IMMT2U by Evisma
I really dig the track and my only "constructive criticism" would be to lose the chorus effect on the bass guitar and turn up the rythem guitar a bit. I think it would give it a little more punch and put some hair on its chest :) -peace

The damn chorus(actually a Jet Flanger) was stupidly recorded wet and can't be removed without a re-record, but the guitar volume can be finagled to hearts content. I'll bump it up a notch! Thanks Riffer-Man. Waiting for your next sonic assault!

on Unhand My Taco Good Sir - Remastered by alientapeplayer
I like it! Do you mind if I add some guitar? Nothing heavy, actually I was thinking something like some wah and almost like a disco type filler/lead. Ya I said disco lol, I wish the size of the text could be reduced on that to emphasize a whisper but it is what it is...:)

on The Darkside by Darkreine
Yo dude, so I think u know me well enough to know I kinda flow more along the heavy metal shore, but most if not all of what u have uploaded I dig alot, so in a positive and respectful manner, big dog- Darkreine has me drifting away from from heavy and sailing into more experimental waters. Keepin it dark, keepin it evil. Peace!!

on Right Place Wrong Century by StaticNomad
Here's a question that will blow your mind, What if David Guilmore could rap, lol would u let him on this one?.... Cool track dude!
StaticNomad
StaticNomad replied 9th Aug 2013 - 13 years ago
The question didn't blow my mind but, yes, if he could rap I'd let him appear on it. But I'd probably he just instead sing the way he does. I'd love to work with the guy, especially as I don't think he's really done anything particularly good in a number of years. I'm a massive Pink Floyd and Gilmour fan and honestly (arrogantly?) believe I could take what he does and turn it into something modern and interesting. He doesn't live too far away from me and has his studio in a fancy houseboat on the River Thames in London, England. Do a Google search for a Sound on Sound magazne feature on the studio if you're interested. But I think the chances of me working with him are currently about zero as I'm a compleye musical nobody. I have other tracks like this though most of them are hosted on other sites that allow very long tracks (and that's what I tend to do rather than these shorter ones I have on Looperman).
