on the galaxy by ElenaSatine

Hello Elena.

Very much liked this composition. I'm generally make chill out music with guitars in front mine are not classical chill outs but I got this number. The title says everything and the song gives it back to the listener. Far out journey in the outer space with great fxes and the reverbed voice of a lonely guitarist somewhere...:-) Pads are cool too as the percs. All in all, he sentence is true: it is your best work. Congrats and greetings, Danke

on BE MY FRIEND by CitizenMofo

Ahhh...another brilliance...tension, feeling, groovy...good song...cool song...if I were you I would make some heavier snare sound for this dangerous number...well?

10/10

Handshake, Danke

CitizenMofo replied 9th Feb 2017 - 9 years ago

Heavier snare - hmmm, I'll mess around with that idea. I'm doing some drum surgeries on other songs pre-mastering, so thanks for the tip on this one. Danke, Danke.

What an atmosphere here...incredible...for me it's an absolute soundtrack from the number ones...:-)
great guitars, great voices, ambient like drums and percussions, surrealistic voyage...

standing ovation than handshake in the VIP room with the artists...:-)

CitizenMofo replied 5th Feb 2017 - 9 years ago

Thank you, Danke. Your name is very familiar to me. I'm always drawn to your cool loops and have used many, many of them in my stuff. I'd love to shake your hand in a VIP room someday, preferably at Coachella, after I've introduced Sunny to the crowd. I've got it all planned out: "All hail ... the legendary ... SUNNY WAR!" She may not be legendary yet but she will be. Thank you for your comment. I appreciate it very much and so will Sunny. -Mofo

on A Celtic Journey by sebas72

big sound...

epic track with the peak when the drums appeared at 3.08...

stunning harmonies, doncare about the electrish attitude...

10/10, handshake, Danke

sebas72 replied 5th Feb 2017 - 9 years ago

Thanks again; like I mentioned, I love folk and world music so much, especially for its genuineness. Unfortunately, as a home-grown musician making all his works by ear I can merely try to encounter the power of real instruments which is absolutely different from steadily arranged and mostly quantized electronic genres. But that's what the music is for - to enjoy it and play with it in the way you can.

on The Waves Between Ship And Shore by Evisma

Dear Evan!

That's powerful, innovative and unique. When I hear your creatures I always wanna go back to my younghood when we wanted to play music like this but we weren't able...:-) that was 30 years before...noone knew about guitar low tuning and stg like hat...this magical piece is giving me a mirror how looser we were at that time...:-)
the opening and the last parts are like a southern rock/metal themes...and the middle parts the jammy tunes...as your bests...no idea for the mix cause I donno mix but I doncare mix cause it's good on it's being...aewsome guitars over the number...and the drum tone is cool too...
thanx for the upload, long live your creativity, handshake, Danke

Evisma replied 1st Feb 2017 - 9 years ago

Greetings, Danke.

Good to hear from you! I'm glad you liked it.

I'm not seriously detuned, like you hear in modern Djent and everything. I'm down a half-step, with my low E down another full step. So my tuning is C# G# C# F# A# D#. Basically drop-D with everything down one fret. My strings are 11s.

I hope you are doing well! Take care.

Evan
