It's been a while since I've got around to reviewing tracks on the loop and always great to hear a new track from you. The production is immense and it all fits together so wonderfully well. You are a true master of the "build and breakdown" and that synth sound is perfect. Great vocal stabs too. Great job. Enjoyed it very much.
It's always interesting hearing a track you have had a try at yourself. I love the sound of Stephanie's vocal and you've done a fantastic job with this. Really interesting arrangement and so very different from my own interpretation. Great job. Love it!
Oh, I'm listening to your interpretation right now!
...
Really, this is kind of embarrassing - that's the way the vocals are supposed to sound, my way is just wrong! Hahaha!
I need to remix this one I guess, and have a second go with it. I got the timing all wrong.
Well, I'm glad you liked it anyway and thank you for the review!
Great track. Really enjoyed listening to it. I've read all the comments above too (voice to far back in the mix, drums to far back in the mix) and agree. It might be worthwhile remixing as the track has got some real merit. Good job.
What a great collaboration! Liked the vocal very much and the ever talented BilBozo plays amazing guitar. It's really really good rock and roll. Brilliant. Hats off! Loved it.
My word it's the Average White Band on steroids! This is terrific stuff. What a great feel and those funky guitars are brilliant. Horn section and the Emerson organ phrases work well and who can resist an electric piano solo too? Hypnotic groove I have so say! Nice ending! Yay!! Love it.
Nice funky easy feel and an absolutely perfect platform to show off not only your excellent bass playing but also your talents arranging and producing. The use of texture, layer and colour are very balanced with nothing "fighting" for the sound stage. It sounds great through my JBL Control 5s (new addition) and the mix is very much on the money. The sax is glorious to - sound and playing wise. It all works seriously well. Top job.
Hey Richie..thanks mate!..glad to know the sounds are coming out of the bins properly, you know how mixing/mastering goes.. you sit there for ages tweaking away and then you start to question whether you've plateaued out on the track and put it into a nose dive,lol...we definitely need to collab on a piece mate...I have a few projects that I have to finish up first then if your free we can put our heads together...cheers Dave :)
dear Richie, your beautifull perception abouT this trial(track) of mine,is so worthwhile for me and your generous words would be an encouragemenT. thanX aloT for your presence, perception, commenT.best wishes.___Behnam
Absolutely beautiful Mahlu. Great work. Glad you didn't loose this track for all time! Full of emotion. That male voice really works too. Fantastic. Love it!!
Really like this track very much. The production is excellent. Very well thought out and beautifully put together. Love your voice too. I would like the opportunity to collaborate on something if you're up for it?
Thank you for listening. The voice is not mine, I am a dude...the woman's voice is actually a sample from an old version of magix music maker. It just happened to fit nicely with the loops I found on looperman.com. I appreciate the feedback, thanks for the comment.
What a wonderful track you have constructed here. It is a fitting tribute to the great man. This is a display of superb guitar playing and an arrangement of very high quality. Those beautiful harmony lines and the tonal changes you achieve are simply breathtaking. I am knocked out!!
Wow! So much in this track that is excellent. Nice song for starters with lots of structure and a great hook. Nice vocals, super bass lines and really top class guitar work. Double lead - just great. I love this track. Top job.
This is so good and it's simply wonderful to hear country guitar work like this. Great playing and what a super sound you have too. Everything excellently done. Great track, love it.
Thank you for commenting on my new tune. I think this is one of best ones to date as far as country. Will get over to your page, and pages of others here...to give a review back.
Hey Richie thanks for the comments and glad you enjoyed! Was tough getting them synths to work together but since you call them Wicked I guess they flowed OK. Keep up the great work on your end cause you got it going on!! Your Fan!
Lovely piano sound you have and the intro is really engaging. It develops nicely too and such a relaxing feel. Very restful. I didn't cry either but that doesn't detract from my enjoyment - nice track, great job.
Beautiful track. Such a great feel to it and those chord progressions are fantastic. Someone out there needs to put a vocal on this - it's too good to leave as it is. Excellent work.
