I was about about to log off and up popped Wanna Change clicked play...ahh man Wanna Change is gorgeous Twanna, your timbre for me has an Angie Stone vibe loved the change at 1:50 ish and the wah solo works a treat. Love to trade some call and response guitar/ vocal with you. Did I use too much love in this review...nope loved it.
Struck me like Disk Jockee's work and other Scandawegian's if that was your first you're going to be dangerous after 5 or 6. I'm aspiring to similar things with production and it's like after a while things click, so much to learn. Keep doing what your doing I'd say and if you need a guitar I'm up for a collab. And it grooves great
Thanks a lot Hutch!
Awesome I will DEF keep you in mind man, seriously. I actually make Hip Hop predominantly, maybe we can create some fusion sometime L=
As for producing, there is no doubt that she is quite the fickle mistress haha
but once you start to get a grasp on how she ticks, its nothing but satisfaction :P
Delicious vocal from MIM4E that bass line hook grooves...the pads under the vocal drip a bit too much reverb for me. The last minute I'd love to hear MIM4E dub kind of vocals dropping in and out. I dig this ALOT, like a download
Totally love Uptown really hope I can get somewhere close to this someday...Im a big Maze fan and this captures early period Golden Time of Day for me,real class
Ridiculous funk AllenV loved it. Fantastic arrangement, great tone and mixing. Would you be up for sharing your chord arrangement or how you came up with the sequence. Did I say I loved it.
Thanks so much Hutch.A big question there...I'm very much a product of over 30yrs of playing in cover bands so a lot of what I do really comes from absorbing all that in.Having said that,I've also had a few riffs and small chord changes that I've never been in an original situation to use and after that long I've built up a lbrary that I use to warm up with live.
I just started recording like this about 6 months ago so i'm finally able to piece some of these things together,no science to it..just yrs of unused ideas, until now and the inspiration I get from all the talent on this site is priceless...I'm very grateful to everyone here, you begin to feel like you could do anything,or at least try :)
Thanks again for your review...Oh,and I love to jam so I start with one idea and hit record..then add parts until something sticks...and it doesn't always work..if you notice I collab a lot more than I do my own originals!
Hyva paiva jussi Really fascinated by your work and even after listening intently can't begin to understand how you create it. I've been a fan of Brian Eno's work since the 70's along with John Barry film soundtracks and French cinema and have always wanted to create something similar to support my guitar. Great stuff.
