Hey Vincen....loooove this one man...great job on the vocals...really like that guitar chord prog (I used to play in a band that did a lot of songs it that classic little progression)...Everything here fits like a glove.....super track....Fav for sure....Ed
Yes...I cettainly think it deserves to be finished minette...its a piece of music with big potential, and I think the biggest challenges are in the production side...sometimes we add too much clutter (bad habit of my own) and I think the additions here could be quite subtle and just embelish the main ingredients that you already have.....hope you get some support in shining this one up....will move the mp3 over to my studip PC fpr a better listen.....very nicely done....Ed
Ah Yes...I hear the Floyd influence...and that is always a very good thing...great job on this one Kikajon...love the guitar too....makes me want to dig out my floyd albums (think I have them all...including the early ones on vinyl).....Fav for sure,....Ed
Ed, I appreciate your kind words and I share your enthusiasm about Pink Floyd. The vinyls, from Ummagumma and Atom heart mother to Animals, have been passed on to my daughter – and she loves them too. Pretty amazing in my book.

Great track OS...Man, how did you do that guitar?....I`m drooling....Nice to hear this one over on the Loop...Your music sounds good to me everywhere I hear it...always superbly composed and perfortmed with that big talent of yours....Ed (Tumbleweed.....Coot on AP,...et al)
Your music sounds just as great here as it does wherever you may post it....always beautifully composed and great listening......Ed (Tumbleweed, Coot, et al)
Thanks, Ed. I wanted to make sure Elaine was able to hear how her poem was being used. I hope she, as well, likes what I made. Catch you later over at AP. -Ken
Smooth sounding track & thats a catchy beat holding it together...there is just something about the anologues that pleases the ear when they are played like this....good one...Ed
greetings from the prairies....man, this is smoooooth..and I love the subtle things you have done with the composition & production....Its just a great listening track this Saturday morning....fav for sure.....well done....ED
You can just putthis one under Good Music as far as I`m concerned Jeff05...I like it just as it is ..nice chord prog...love the fat clean tone you have going too....great track...really enjoyed the listen over my way...fav for sure...Ed
just added this one to my favs...your talent is showing my friend...great job all round...from the composition...to the playing...to the production....great stuff....ED
Nice work of those acoustic parts Richie...comes up with a real nice tone. Like the way your parts complimented the vocal so well and played around the lyrics rather than over them...Vocals are right on & rest on the accompaniment very tasty....really is very well done...ED
Hope it rains for a while yet if it gets you to keep doing this kind of music...Nicely composed...good lyrics delivered just right and accompaniment is on the money....GUess that makes the whole thing a really good track.....well done....ED
Well...I was thinking Nightshine would be a good title...but that middle section kind of takes it out of the floating vibe for a little while...Its definitely a journey and a track that makes for great listening music over here Kwembe....really well done...Ed
Definitely a Summer vibe to this one mate...and I`m in favour of uplifting music any day of the week...Can hear why you had fun doing this one...kind of does bring a smile along with it....Good stuff...enjoyed this one VSS.......Ed
Ah thanx so much for the great review Ed. Much appreciated coming from one as talented as your-self. Glad you enjoyed and caght that summer vibe. LOL blazing hot here today so just off into garden with lappy & cold beer to try and find some more inspiration. Thanx again my friend
Welll...I really like this little tune XSITION...very nice natural sound on the acoustic & very tasty chords. The subtle percussion works perfectly. Artist, emotions, acoustic guitar & talent equals good music most of the time...no exception here....very nicely done...enjoyed the listen...Ed
Thata some very tasty guitar playing Citemgr..A bit of Gilmour in the tone and expressive touch in the playing...Really liked this one fellow guitar guy...fav for sure......Ed
LOve this one PhasmataJ...reminds me just a little of some of the great tracks that Nightwish (Norwegian kind of goth metal band but have many great ambient tracks)have done...I know what you mean about the whole mixing-mastering thing...I`ve been doing it for a long time & I think this one really is a good job...nice and clean without the life squashed out of it and all the parts are nicely in their place in the sound stage....well done....Ed
My ears & speakers love your production on this one DextDee, and I note that you are in the talented company of Bear too...It was listening to some of his piano loops that got me thinking I best check around the Loop a bit (I had just been stopping in once in a while to look for drums etc)....Was surprised to find the number of tracks posted and a lot of talent.....This one sure is a pleasant listen this Monday night....Very nicely done....Ed
i have always considered Bear as my boss in this music thing and it was an honor to work with him on this track, and an honor to have a review from u as well. thnx
Thanks. I do really enjoy making more of the R&B or funk sounds. Hopefully the bass player I'm collaborating with will lay down a track for this piece soon.
I`m sitting at the back table nursing a cold brew & I could listen to your guys very happily for the rest of the night...very cool...like your compositional thinking & the vocals & accompaniment are very nicely done...Ed
I'm glad you like this stuff Ed. I'll post some more done by Lacey and Lucas Boys once I'm allowed to post more tracks. You can also visit our web site. We're working on some new stuff so hopefully we'll have that done in a week or two. I'm looking for a sax player to add a solo to one of the songs I'm currently working on.
No doubt about the mid-East vibe on this one but you have brought it into a musical rhelm that more familiar to our ears this side of the planet....Love that break around 2:20 & whatever it was you did to subtly bring that bit of extra space to the mix...Nice easy flowing guitar....well done again....Ed
