on Sad Guitar by djmaestro
I enjoyed this one too much to think there was much sadness in the guitar djmaestro...but yes..the overall vibe has that hint of sadness that speaks without language...very nicely done...I would have liked to download this one....ED

Chill Out is good with me (but I know little about genres)...heck...you can put it under any genre you like & it will still be good listening music to my ears....Really well done...if this is going back to your roots you`re in a good place DouglasS......Ed

on Kurosawa ft MStokes and Tumbleweed by AllenV
Wow...thats rock boys....I can think of no bigger compliment than to have a fellow musician use some of my efforts in their music,...so many thanks to you guys....and a great job on this track...the intro almost gives it a kind of dark goth feel and then the good stuff hits the fan....right on (as we used to say)....Ed (Tumbleweed)

Thank you Ed!
MStokes had this uploaded for quite awhile before I decided to upload it myself.I had several ideas to update the song with an intro/outro but nothing fit until I heard your track...perfect,and of course I had to ask and you were very gracious to be a part of this song.
I sent a demo to Mike and his enthusiasm sealed the deal.

Thank you for completing our project!

on Viejo Rockero -Collab AbnerBesares by Vicen
Superbly done Vicen & abnerbesares....very smooth vocals...perhaps it is partly the language but you do it very well...liked that little saxaphone part placed nicely in the mix too.....good one....Ed

Vicen replied 15th Nov 2011 - 14 years ago
It is the story of an old rocker, which tried to imitate his voice. Abner's guitar is a marvel. I'm glad you liked it.

on OnTheTerrace1564 by Hutch82
oh yeah...absoutely smoove Hutch and a bit jazzy...hvae always liked the nylon string for this kind of thing...beautiful playing here..really a great listen. Don`t know how you got everything sounding so clean playing on the terrace but its top notch....now you`ve got me thinking about that e bow...never tried one..I seem to have a tough time just trying to do the regular stuff....great track mate....Ed

Hutch82 replied 9th Nov 2011 - 14 years ago
Big thumbs up Ed well happy you like this one...e-bow's are weird, still working with it to tap in to it's potential. And don't play my nylon enough that's why I took it away to get back in to it, need to find a way to record it better though but hey all part of the fun. Cheers m8

on First Frost by Ninjetta
Good timing on this post Ninjetta...we just had our first snowfall of the season up here last night....beautiful job on the accompaniment music...a lot of ambience on the vocal...almost gives it an Enya-like vibe (please take that as a compliment...some people are a bit critical of the amount of reverb Enya uses)....Anyway...makes for a very pleasant Sunday afternoon listen up this way....well done....Ed

on Missing by mrck1z
Hey mrck1z.....I always consider it a great compliment when a fellow musician feels motivated to do something with any of my music....love the guitar you added here (I had to resist adding any guitar myself just to try and prove to myself I could do listenable music without it....but guitar is my 1st instrument love)..gives it a bit of a Pink Floyd vibe....You could even throw a touch more overdrive & ambience at the guitar if you like....Anyway....definitely keep on doing whatever you planned..REally do like it and sorry about just catching up with this one now...have been away even longer than the Loop was I guess....Thank you......Ed

on one day by rei4real
This is good listening music Rei...nice guitar tone & I really enjoy tracks where the bass is part of the action....I know you are mainly into guitar (like myself) but must say I really like that straight up funky drum kit going on here....well done....Ed
rei4real
rei4real replied 3rd Nov 2011 - 14 years ago
thank you!!!
I do think that a good song has to stand on solid ground, so the bass and the drums should have a very important function for the songwriting. some guitar players forget that from time to time ... great that you notice that!!
