Just a super job all round on this one guys...A great Monday listen up here in the great white north....good lyrics...expressive vocal delivery, and very tasty accompaniment....Guess that makes the whole thing good music....You can play this on my radio any day....Well done.....Ed
Congrats on the Gandson Visualword (one of life`s greatest experiences)...Great little tune...happy...uplifting...with a touch of mystery.
Here are some lyrics...."Birds in the air...fishes in the pond...puppies playing on the lawn..the child is dancing, singing songs.....who will you become...beautiful boy".....I wrote those for my grandson a couple of years ago but I dont sing (the world should be grateful for that)....Anyway, very nice tune....enjoyed it over my way....nicely done....Ed
Thanks for the comments and the lyrics...I don't add lyrics to my songs, I just let the music take you where it will and let your mind come up with it's own lyrics...
Aint it the truth....no truer words ever spoken...kudos to you brother...this is good words and good music in any genre. Its not a genre I do well but I sure can appreciate it when its done like this......Keep on....Ed
beautiful track PhasmataJ...well done on the vocals and accompaniment...emotions, instruments and artists usually make for good music...and this is no exception...Ed
Hi Ed. Really appreciate your review. Music is something that needs to reach deep inside of us all and pull out something good. Stay in touch and am so glad to be a part of looperman and wonderful people like you! :)
I remember the original. You did a great job on the vocals on this one cdm. You have a distinctive voice & hit this one on the money. Like your spin on it too....well done man.....Ed
nice little chord prog carrying this one along...smooth changes and some very cool sounds...kind of implied melody.Have to admit those strings in the background just get me every time.they just add so much character & change it with the type of instruments you bring into the mix....nicely done 67...enjoyed...Ed
Wow...is the first word that comes to mind and I`m having trouble thinking of the rest...but must say this is just an exceptional piece of music composed, performed and produced with really big talent...A very well done to all involved and your production is just top notch on this one PJB..even with these little monitors on my online PC....Ed
Ah...but its a catchy little progression repetition with room for a nice slow ambient piano part....the kind of tune that invites listening...sure didn`t think it was in the weird genre IDrop...enjoyed the listen....Ed
Man,...you have something good going on here Stuart...Kate`s vocal is outstanding, but I also really like what you are doing with the accompaniment..Always love that rich expressive vibe a well played piano gives and actually I think the synth strings fit fine..The real thing is hard to replace but for many compositions the synth strings just fit the bill..gives the track a bit of a classic synth vibe....I really liked this one...well done...Ed
Smooooooth blues going on Bilbozo...super pacing and love the tone man...definitely a fav....great track all the way....I`m in Colin`s home town, so very familiar with his stuff (he moved away from here some years back...Vancouver now I think).....Ed
Hey Epip...recently had a friend ask me to do a reggae backing track for him (haven`t done one before)...so looks like a good place over here for some listening & lessons....nicely done...I`ll be back for more...ED
Thanks Ed, that's kind of what I did before I came up with this track. I spent a couple of days just listening to Reggae on different sites I found on the internet.
Nice to hear some country posted on the Loop...and Dm good stuff too...love the chord prog....hope some country lovin vocalist picks this one up for you Epip....nicely done...Ed
Wow.....you can play this on my radio any day guys....we dont get the good stuff on commercial radio...the world is your oyster boys...keep on...definitely a fav...Ed
Very Pro stuff going on Slap....My listening days started back when every band wanted a sax player (I`m admitting my age) so my ears are still tuned to the good sounds...This one is really well done so was pleasurable listening over her in Canada tonight (I am originally from just across the pond a few miles from you...N Ireland)...Might be some wear on my ears, but I`d bring the vocal up just a touch....well done...Ed
