Welll...I really like this little tune XSITION...very nice natural sound on the acoustic & very tasty chords. The subtle percussion works perfectly. Artist, emotions, acoustic guitar & talent equals good music most of the time...no exception here....very nicely done...enjoyed the listen...Ed

on The Difference by PhasmataJ
LOve this one PhasmataJ...reminds me just a little of some of the great tracks that Nightwish (Norwegian kind of goth metal band but have many great ambient tracks)have done...I know what you mean about the whole mixing-mastering thing...I`ve been doing it for a long time & I think this one really is a good job...nice and clean without the life squashed out of it and all the parts are nicely in their place in the sound stage....well done....Ed

on Hug The Bear To Sleep by DextDee
My ears & speakers love your production on this one DextDee, and I note that you are in the talented company of Bear too...It was listening to some of his piano loops that got me thinking I best check around the Loop a bit (I had just been stopping in once in a while to look for drums etc)....Was surprised to find the number of tracks posted and a lot of talent.....This one sure is a pleasant listen this Monday night....Very nicely done....Ed

Thanks. I do really enjoy making more of the R&B or funk sounds. Hopefully the bass player I'm collaborating with will lay down a track for this piece soon.

I'm glad you like this stuff Ed. I'll post some more done by Lacey and Lucas Boys once I'm allowed to post more tracks. You can also visit our web site. We're working on some new stuff so hopefully we'll have that done in a week or two. I'm looking for a sax player to add a solo to one of the songs I'm currently working on.

on Cairo by jfw
No doubt about the mid-East vibe on this one but you have brought it into a musical rhelm that more familiar to our ears this side of the planet....Love that break around 2:20 & whatever it was you did to subtly bring that bit of extra space to the mix...Nice easy flowing guitar....well done again....Ed

on Liams Music Box by visualword
Congrats on the Gandson Visualword (one of life`s greatest experiences)...Great little tune...happy...uplifting...with a touch of mystery.
Here are some lyrics...."Birds in the air...fishes in the pond...puppies playing on the lawn..the child is dancing, singing songs.....who will you become...beautiful boy".....I wrote those for my grandson a couple of years ago but I dont sing (the world should be grateful for that)....Anyway, very nice tune....enjoyed it over my way....nicely done....Ed

Thanks for the comments and the lyrics...I don't add lyrics to my songs, I just let the music take you where it will and let your mind come up with it's own lyrics...

on KATE D and SXB by StuartXBlack
Man,...you have something good going on here Stuart...Kate`s vocal is outstanding, but I also really like what you are doing with the accompaniment..Always love that rich expressive vibe a well played piano gives and actually I think the synth strings fit fine..The real thing is hard to replace but for many compositions the synth strings just fit the bill..gives the track a bit of a classic synth vibe....I really liked this one...well done...Ed
