Well now am having a drink of the local stuff Leon...I blame this kind of stuff on age...but nobody at our place believes me..actually I was trying to finish a mix on an R&B type backing mix for a SC friend...done now so time for a cool one....see you along the road....all is now in order...more or less....Ed

Oh damn...so we didn't make it at least to 200 afteral, but it's a good record anyway...haha...so I'm raising my glass

Hi Leon...stopped by to make sure I hit that little heard button...thanks you my friend...Ed

Haha...Ed, my friend...have you been drinking again? (joke)
I still see a big zero near the heart icon...well, in fact there was one at the beggining, but it seems the reviewer subsequently deleted it...haha...so this is exceptional record break and
incredible achievement (haha) since it really never happened with any of my uploads that the fav count would still show zero even after 163
listens (at the moment). Can we reach over 200 ? I'm keeping my fingers crossed cause this really entertains me...haha...Is it possible that I really ruined this gem so much? Well I'm trying to comfort myself with the thought that maybe peoples taste is becoming more and more c**p...haha...all jokes aside I'm really happy that you stopped by even when your intended mission somehow failed...and that's the most important above all! Thank you so much again and again !

Cheers____Leon

on A look at the past by AmberMakesArtStuff
like the piano Shadoware...I know very little about video game music so I`m just listening from a musical point of view....very mellow music and easy to listen to...not really much variation so perhaps that is the vibe you are going for....keep doing your thing...there are lots of people here on LM who can share ideas with you.....Ed

Hey taz...first off sorry about the reply to your comment on my track...guess I hit a wrong key & it posted in the middle of a sentence...but many thanks for the listen & comment.....Now...on this one...I dabble in Celtic inspired music fairly often so this one really appeals to the old green blood in me...does have a little medieval vibe but it also carries a sense of tradition and the kind of music that was real...so I must say I enjoyed the listen....good for you..I could listen to more along the same line any time....well done traz.....Ed

traz75 replied 15th Oct 2018 - 7 years ago
Hi Ed!

Sorry for the late reply...
I'm glad you liked it despite it's a very basic tune, and my guitarplay were not the most precise i think. :)
Regards, traz

on I d Like to See the Dawgs by vigwig
who let the dawgs out..yep..at a minute & a half in I`m looking for the old double-barrel,HaHa..3;38 got my attention in other directions..you are one creative guy vigwig...a most entertaining track and your descriptions are just as entertaining....keep on...Ed

vigwig replied 1st May 2018 - 7 years ago
Yeah, I worked kinda hard on that description, lol. Was just curious if anybody actually read those, ha ha. I a;sp wonder about the flood of listeners I get from Russia, Bosnia, India, China, Germany and I must be pretty popular in Brazil, too. Not to mention other places I can't spell or pronounce and possibly fake countries I've never heard of before. vic

on Overmyth III - Conquering The Bathelyst by ValveDriver
Man....I hardly know what to say about this...if you didn`t say otherwise I would just accept the guitars as a performance by a mighty talented metal group...I can`t imagine the time, effort and talent you put into this Aaron...but the results are evidence....just a superb example of a metal composition, arranged, performed and delivered so well that even a mellow old guitar dude like me has to stand up and say BRAVO.......Ed

ValveDriver replied 1st May 2018 - 7 years ago
Ed, good to hear from you.

I definitely put a lot of time into this one. There were a lot of riffs that got cut and reformed. This was one of those tracks thatvwas nothing but trouble for the longest time. But, Iwasn't about to let it win! I'm too stubborn to let that happen.
Like I told Eric, it always means a lot when talented musicians like yourself compliment my work. It keeps me wanting to not only do more, but constantly improve. So, with that being said, thank you!

Take care my friend!

cyborgnyc replied 30th Apr 2018 - 7 years ago
Thanks, I think there is some bass, but probably not cutting through. Still learning how to mix (and find good sounds in the thousands of presets on Helix etc.) I appreicate your taking the time to comment!

on Bells Of Christmas by Mykael
I suspected you were a guy who was up to good things Mykael...this track would be a cure for the long & oft repeated commercial music we seem to get every Christmas....I would have loved to hear it on the radio..I hope some smart label out there discovers it it shares it with the big audience (but we know those things don`t often happen)...this is just top class all the way from lyrics...vocal delivery...accompaniment ...arrangement & production...a big well done to you and those involved...I hope it contributed to the cause....Bravo...Ed
Mykael
Mykael replied 30th Apr 2018 - 7 years ago
Thank you so much, Ed, for your well wishes for this song. It was pure joy have worked with an amazing musician who also happens to be a priest living in the Ukraine. The music video has over 7,000 hits (and counting), so who knows, by next Christmas Season it could very well be exposed to a wider audience. I am so happy you enjoyed listening to it.

Thank you so much for stopping by my friend... it's never too late! I must say I really enjoyed this one and I am the one who has to say big thank you for being granted another
opportunity to work on something exceptional which will always bring fond memories. Another one is still in works and due to recent lack of free time it's progressing a bit more slowly on its way to full form, but I'll let you know as soon as I get there...:)

Thanks, Ed. This was a tough one for me. I did study music theory long ago, but not a whole seems to have stuck. It's very much hit or miss for me figuring out chord progressions. It gets very confusing! :0

I saw that you replied to my comment on your "Two Minutes" track, but the page seems to have gone missing on Looperman. Have never seen that before.

One of these days it would be great if we could collaborate on a track. I greatly admire your musicianship.

on SIN TI NO SOY NADA WITHOUT YOU I AM NOTHING by Zeus2125
Hi Zeus...some really nice fat sounding synth pads here...nice little chord progression carries it along well...& the melody bit contrast nicely with the deeper sounds...you are well on your way my friend...this kind of musical thinking is always a special way (in my opinion) to deliver a bit of emotion and draw some thoughtful listening....well done...keep on...definitely on track....Ed

Thank you bro. I am going to be editing those violins though because they don't really match the mood enough and they sound a bit rough for this type of song. However go check out my new track and lmk what you think! Thanks!

Always a pleasure and a privilege to join you in music Leon...I noted the comment on a bit of Gilmour guitar...that had been my original intent until other things got in the way HaHa.....(maybe some future day?)....thank you again my friend...see you again along the road.....Ed

It's a real mystery my friend! How the situation happened
or vice versa how it didn't happen? Luckily you can still do that Gilmour thing one sunny day with all those other things that got in the way mixed out ofcourse..:) Regardless, it was my honour and pleasure being granted to contribute to whatever it turned out now !

Thank you so much for stopping by....the journey continues_____Leon

Many thanks for your comments and strangely enough when I do want to feature a track of mine I've noticed I can only feature just the 1 at any 1 time, pity that really

and if this is a bit of a genre mix, I just like being different and more creative
and most of all I hope you enjoyed, not bad probably considering I mad this in less than just over 2 hours

on Tragedy In Numbers - Never Enough Tutorial perhaps by Mahloo13
When I looked at that Wav. graph I knew I was in for a hard ride HaHa...I am reminded of some of the early tracks from Hugh Dillon`s Band (Headstones) that I needed to listen too since our Son is a buddy of High`s....The mosh pit would kill this ol boy now.....My ears don`t allow me to comment objectively of the production issues you note....but I can sure say with authority...This is one freeking good hard rocking song...can`t imagine fans of the genre not loving it.....cheers....Ed

Your vocal is def the star TA...like the acoustic guitar you should do it more often...its one of those things you can just stick a mic in front of & play...does have a dark vibe...flowing mainly from that low/fat piano I think...I`m hearing really nice production values all the way...actually the whole thing is really well put together...placement (nice stage set from L to R & front to back)...I don`t mind the sudden end at all...beats that lazy fade that a lot of us (including me) use....I think its one of your best my friend....great job....Ed
