Sure - I thought winter lake might be closer to an indian tradition but I think you are better judge of what might work - that track was a just a small experiment but why not : )
Im without my software and vst instruments for a week or so though as my MacBook in for repair
Not to worry, let me listen to that as well, once I come up with something concrete I'll make you hear it and we can take it further. what say? Please leave a message on my email id so that I can send you stuff more conveniently there. my id is in my profile.
I doubt I have the skill but it's lovely of you to suggest it. Im pretty sure there are others here on looperman that would love to collaborate too - and are much better musicians - but always willing to give something a go : )
@pseudoble, I am so pleased to hear your encouraging words. Means so much to me. The song is based on Indian classical music. Tried my hand in doing everything by myself. Would you be interested to do something cross-cultural fusion?
What a great sound - lush, full, totally professional, I started to wonder if there was an orchestra there! and ashes and dreams has a really love voice - fabulous
Thanks man. I need to work on the percussion side of things in my tracks. Something better than just dragging a loop through the whole song. You got that nailed down on your tracks and it's obvious, such an important part of it.
Nice and very dreamy - 4 years between parts! - lovely rhythmic pulse too, sweet arpeggios on the keys and some lilting melodic lines from the guitars - sounds great too
Very classic funk sound, great production and a few breaks here and there for some contrast and to renew interest - for the dance floor I reckon or for me maybe just getting down in the kitchen! well done
Nice work - interesting to read the tips here about how to make it better (makes me feel like such a novice but I know it's all about practice and learning through trial and error) In my view this is already really good!
There is a lot happening there especially with the extensive backing vocal running through so much of the rap - it kind of works though, (sounds better on the headphones) and it is broken up a bit. Certainly a much stronger take on a rap by graffezy and a fresh and on point hip hop tune than my own initial efforts with one of his raps!

Hey there - home from work so a chance to listen - this is a nice pop song - good lyric, vocal and music - it's probably just me but I would like to slow it down a notch - thinking what if it sounded more like eno producing james https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PaK9pLh0hBk - go figure!
And btw thanks for commenting on my efforts ; )
Happy 83 - you succeeded for sure - a very nice 80's style pop song with some current touches of finesse (although as you say not quite finished - nice structure there already). The mix sounds great to me and the mix of instruments / sounds is spot on - building up in a classic kind of way.
Thank you so much for your feedback! It means a lot to me! ^_^
Anyway, I feel like I could've worked a little bit longer on this track. I'm so glad you like it ^_^
Jazz Dance I think - nice work - I wasnt on looperman back in May so this must be one of many I missed and look forward to catching up on. I like that beat that gets going reminds me of fast moving train clack clack clackity clack and the horns and melodies coming over - smooth
Donna Summer never sounded like this - great sound very dense and textured, some nice melody lines and arpeggios and movement between parts and yes very dance dance dance (new wave disco on steroids ... I guess that's 'somewhat' what trance is)
