Definitely your first beat here, i can tell. As none of the instruments are mixed properly.(Everything sounds centered, all the instruments are competing to be heard) This lacks compression too. Has potential, but the sound is so scattered it's hard to translate into music. But it's a good effort though, i dunno if people before me commenting are deaf or just didn't go to school for this like i have. But on a plus, the arrangement is pretty sweet, and the sounds fit together. Solid. keep up the pace. peace out
Listened to this joint a while back...should of commented. So wait, your stay around by Detroit? Ironic i'm meeting all these people who stay in the midwest or relatively close. I like the midwest the most because of one, i grew up here. and two, we hardly get any type of natural disasters haha but yea original ish here, i digs it. peace out
dope mood music right here. i gotta couple chilled out joints in the works too...there's one i started on yesterday night...but then got stuck. lol some technical bullshit i didn't wanna deal with. but yea, good ish here man. love the vox chop. trippy mane. peace out
Good stuff...the only thing is that synth melody sounds like it has a bit detuning in it. Or the paramento knob (if there is any on the plug in or whatever you used to make the synth) is set too high. Makes it sound a little intruding at times. Other than that, good snare rolls and overall beat and flow. keep it up. peace
Agree with the others. Like the percussion and the overall drum line is great. The vox is nice touch too, not too many complaints on this one. good ish. peace
Dope shit my dude. I like the guitar like synth. and haha i feel the same way about being school. Especially when i was still in high school, everybody be sleep on the desk or either goofing around lol or skipping class haha loads of other bullshit, but yea digs this. Plain and simple, nice works. peace out
Looks like i'm the only one here brudda...ha oh man. I don't see how it's THAT hard to make a couple minutes or so to a listen to a track. I don't think there's an excuse, i hate excuses. Nothing gets done with them, that's why many are unsuccessful in life. No matter how busy your life is or what happens around you or whatever your situation may be...you should still be able to make some sort of free time or something. For you or whatever.
I've had moments where i've been extremely busy, or got caught in some drama, or family issues or whatever else life throws at you. But guess what? I still made time to hang with friends, or even call people just to see how there doing. Still visit family and my loved ones. I'm still able to give reviews to people on here. I'm still able to make music. I'm still able to do a multitude of different tasks on a fixed schedule. oh man...haha this isn't aimed at you man. But to the track
Like the groove on this, has the standard reggaeton beat to it. That's primarily why i don't like much of the genre because of those dreaded same programmed beats! lol All good dancing fun though i guess...but this is pretty nice. I personally thought some of the sounds didn't fit, but it's simple enough to where it gets the job done. A nice mix in this as well...i would of also liked a more finished sound to this though. As with some of your other tracks, but the the track itself is good. peace
Agree with the others, the beat is pretty great in this. If computers chips could dance, they would use this to dance to. No problems on my side. keep it up. regards
Pretty nice man. Like the main drum line and feel to it. Sounds a little slow though, feels like it's also missing something too....don't know what though. Synths start to lose it's luster after a while too...solid track. regards. peace
Thanks Neo Yeh I was concerned the synths might be too redundant. The tempo however is 110 which is Moombahton. It's kind of slowed down techno reggaeton beat
Peace
Hey man this is really creative. Like the vibe i'm getting from it. Arrangement is pretty good, the only thing that weighed it down was the unbalance of the mix. At times it's at a nice level and weighed out but then peaks every so often. Every one of the sounds blend with each other very well i thought too. But otherwise great track here. peace
Nice comeback track here ste. Dig the guitar mixed in with the bongos. Goes together very well with other sounds too. Tad too short though, definitely could grow into something more. Good chill out stuff here. peace!
Sorry for the late reply, hadn't realized you'd commented, stupid spam filters. Immensely glad you liked the track, working on it a lot now, hoping to have it uploaded and updated pretty soon :D
Really chill stuff man, like that sub. Vocals just right with the instrumentation too. Which is mostly bass, but i ain't mad at ya. I'm mostly a bass head anyways haha. good stuff here man. Mixed pretty nicely too. peace
We seem to have similar interests when it comes to music. I actually want to have my own rpg game created with me composing the whole soundtrack one day. Kind of like most of my fav top composers of vgm or film music. Many favorites of mine are actually foreign. Such as Nobuo Uematsu(final fantasy composer) Yoshitaka Hirota, Nobuyoshi Sano, and many more names i cannot pronounce lol but their work is undeniable. But of course i still love many american based composer such as Hans Zimmer, Bruce Faulconer(DBZ), Martin O' Donnell etc.
And i agree with the others, you have the concepts down, it would just be nice to have full tracks. And from what i know really about VGM, the songs do not have to be "that" long. As they are most of the time tailored to specific scenes in games or movies and will play for maybe 1 minute and 30 seconds to 2 minutes. Sometimes longer, but that's usually credits and intros and stuff like that. How do i know this? Just alot of gaming and movie watching lol ALOT. great initiatives here man. peace
thanks for all of that info Neo. i hope to check out the composers you mentioned as well as more of your work. i am in fact on the road toward more expansive tracks. peace for now. Dan
Just for the title of this track i HAVE to like it. haha I'm a big ass man myself lol anyways to the track ehem seems with the beat the snare on the "first" initial hit it's phasing a bit. Unless that was what you were going for than it's good. But i liked the synth work in this and the the constant brass hit too. The style of composition is pretty dope too, i like how it's so drop...then back to the beat..all frantic and what not. dope shit man. peace!
Definitely a blaze up feeling track, hence the name i assume. haha and that padding mixed with the watery sounds and whistling hypno type of synth is really nice together. And i feel you on the ban thing man, i was banned maybe about 3 times on here for speaking my mind and what not. Sometimes, people on here are over sensitive and hypocritical. Not everyone, there's cool peeps on here no doubt though. But yea this is just the type of track i needed to hear on another late night in 1am. Except no bud....lol dope ish. peace out!
Yo, so i got the soundtrack. sick ish, already hear about 5 or so tracks i can use to sample from haha and yea, i thought you was the same dude..i still got the bad luck beat of yours, i was going to spit something on it but never did. Still listen to it though. Alright then though i'll stop commenting on your track here, was just letting you know i got the soundtrack in the dropbox! peace out!
Very dark like glitchy intro so far...the padding reminds me a bit of metroid prime..that wobble bass is solid, could be a little more defined in my opinion but this is all preference and what your going for. Very dark though, not bad arrangement either. Good stuff here Edz, i can dig it. peace out!
Yea sure i would probably dig that soundtrack, could find me a sample or two to chop up out of that as well haha and what do you mean by dropbox? I've heard this mentioned twice now...you mean emailing it to me or one of those upload sites like mediashare or something? But yea i could definitely use that man! Set it up and let me know if i have to do something!
-And oh, just curious here...there was another member on this site a while back with the name "Omega" in it. I think it was just like "OmegaProductions" or "OmegaZproductions" or something. Are you the same guy? He had this beat called "Bad Luck"..wonder if your the same dude. I could be wrong though.
Yeah i'm the same person OmegapProductions,i got banned for getting into it on the forums with somebody. It wouldn't let me get back on with a different account so i stayed away for a minute. Dropbox is like a big online storage place where you can upload music files, and stuff. Here's a link to the folder if you can't get in from the link.Shoot me an email at omega5383@gmail.com
NICE, i was looking into Asura's Wrath and that game is like one big fucking epic movie! haha It's quite ridiculous how intense it gets, looks like a dope game though i might get. Right after i get Borderlands 2 though! ugh i want that game really bad lol But this is really dope man, nice sample you pulled from the soundtrack i'm guessing. Good ish man. peace out!
Yeah i got the OST Soundtrack, with all the music from the game. It's great if you want i could send it to you on dropbox. If you look the game up on youtube one guy has the whole game where you can watch it like a movie, and it's great,i think they should have just made it an anime movie it's that epic, with great a great soundtrack. Thanks for the positive words.
Hm not bad, dubstep mixed with a lil trap. The hi hats and snare rolls are lil all over the place for me. Could be a little less frantic. But its still sequenced nicely. When i think trap however, as in trap beats. Lex Luger always come to mind, ONE of his best.
lol okay i'm listening. Anyways definitely dig that beat, has nice oriental vibe to it. Samurai type ish. Cue the sword sound *shing!* haha Pretty nice flows, goes well with the beat. I can dig it man, keep the shit up bra. peace out!
Nice minimalistic DnB track you got here sn76. Dig the padding and synths, compressed down pretty nicely me thinks too. I feel like it's missing some things though, all in all though this is still nice. simple and sweet. Makes me feel like there really is a place....lol at least better than where I'm at. digs it! peace out!
Eshar! How have you've been? Haven't seen you in a while on here. Digging this one. That guitar sounds extra crispy, and the acoustic bass only compliments it more. Funky tune you got here. i can dig it. nice to see you back! peace!
